The Interior Design program at Andrews University is a four-year plus one summer course of study and results in the Bachelor of Interior Design degree. In accordance with our mission statement, the program will aspire to teach its students sound thinking, practical skills and rigorous scholarship in the discipline of interior design. As a Seventh-day Adventist institution, our students will learn to serve mankind in accord with their professional and Christian vocation and seek the virtues of joy, beauty, wholeness, and moderation in their lifelong pursuit of learning.
There are many different career paths and specializations in the field of interior design. Oftentimes, interior designers will specialize in more than one area of design such as corporate office, healthcare, closets and systems, furniture/ergonomics, kitchen and bath or designing for the hearing or visually impaired?just to name a few!
