The marine and environmental biology program is thesis-based, and?thesis research projects?have ranged from the molecular to the ecosystem level and everywhere in between.
The Department of Biological Sciences includes 10?graduate faculty?on staff and numerous adjunct faculty, including researchers at?LUMCON.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must submit bachelors degree in life science from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
- Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation
- Submit official GRE (300 in verbal + quantitative) scores
- Submit a cover letter and resume
- Graduate faculty member must agree to be a major professor
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 100
