Bachelor of Science [B.S] (Education - Elementary K-6)

Elementary education candidates will gain certification to teach grades K-6 upon graduation. All students in the elementary education program will also be required to earn their ESOL endorsement. This endorsement is required by the State of Florida for all elementary teachers. Beginning in the 2016-2017 academic year all students in the elementary education program will be required to earn the Elementary Education/ESOL Endorsement/Reading Endorsement.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all secondary school coursework and grades
- The official transcripts and grades should be translated into English
- Submit an essay written in English
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a counselor, teacher or headmaster
- Submit English Language Proficiency requirements
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 550 in PBT; 79 in iBT; 8.5 in Essentials
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum score of 110
- Should complete the English 112 certificate offered by ELS Language Centers accompanied by a letter of recommendation from an administrator and a 500-word English writing sample.
