A student is admitted to candidacy for the degree of Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Arts with amajor in music only upon the approval of the Department of Music. Each student, with the aid ofhis/her adviser, will establish a degree plan best suited to his/her own abilities and ambitions inmusic. Each student?s degree plan must be reviewed by his/her adviser and approved by theDepartment of Music and the registrar by the end of the sophomore year. At this time, the studentmust make formal application to continue studies toward a degree in music. The sophomore yearperformance jury will determine upper division status and eligibility for the Bachelor of Music degree.
