SLU’s Master of Science in applied financial economics program offered by the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business is a one-of-a-kind program in the region. The program responds to the need for individuals to enter the labor market with a set of applied technical skills. You will be attractive to employers looking for candidates with training in practical, empirical analysis in areas such as: portfolio management, risk analysis, forecasting, investment performance and measurement.SLU’s master’s program in applied financial economics consists of 30 credit hours that can be completed full time in one calendar year. No work experience is required, which means that you can transition into the program upon achieving your undergraduate degree. In addition, the program can be pursued on a part-time basis for up to five years, which makes it ideal for working professionals.
