Students become academically prepared through a variety of biblically rooted courses?in psychology and kinesiology, while also gaining hands-on experience through practicum placement and mentorship.?
Students will be trained to use mental strategies such as imagery, goal setting, and arousal regulation to help a broad range of clients, such as:
- The professional athlete trying to reach their peak performance
- The college athlete facing burnout
- The coach who is trying to increase his/her team?s performance
- The chronically ill client whose sedentary lifestyle is causing more health problems
- The elderly client who wants to be more active with his/her grandchildren
- The violinist who freezes on stage
- The surgical student whose hands shake under pressure

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Must have completed bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all past education and additional transcripts may be needed for GPA
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent is required on a scale of 4.0 for admission
- Applicants with GPA less than 3.0 may be considered based on interview and work experience
- Should complete pre requisite courses in general psychology, statistics, anatomy or physiology
- Submit two letters of recommendation from persons who can address your potential for success
- Submit an essay of 500 words that should include long term professional goals, purpose of entering program, reason for choosing the university
- Submit current resume
- Complete an interview with the program director
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 80 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.0
- PTE: minimum score of 53
