Currently the undergraduate civil engineering program offers at least two courses in each of the four focus areas: Environmental engineering, Structural Systems, Transportation engineering and Water Resources engineering. The Department maintains excellent laboratories in all the focus areas of Civil Engineering so there are ample opportunities for hands-on training and experiences. The Department has dedicated Freshman and Transfer student advisors to work with incoming students making the transition from High School or other institutions smooth. Students are encouraged and assisted with finding summer internship opportunities.
