BSEE Program Educational Objectives
The program educational objectives of the Electrical Engineering Degree Program are to produce graduates who, during their first few years after graduation, will:

BSEE Student Outcomes
The student outcomes of the Electrical Engineering degree program are to produce graduates who at the time of graduation will have:
- A practical working knowledge of mathematical, scientific, and engineering principles in the field of electrical engineering.
- The ability to plan and conduct experiments in electrical engineering science and design, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
- An ability to design electrical systems, components, or processes to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.
- An ability to effectively participate in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- A capacity for problem identification, formulation, solution generation, and decision making.
- An ability to make ethical decisions in professional life and to cultivate personal integrity.
- A broad education to understand the role and impact of the electrical engineering profession in a global, environmental, and societal context.
- Recognition of the need for and an ability to continue life-long learning.
- Knowledge of the changing technological environment and its impact on contemporary issues.
- An ability to use modern engineering techniques, instrumentation, and software tools to practice the electrical engineering profession.
