The business analytics major prepares students to succeed in a data-driven world, providing exposure to software platforms and techniques used to store, transform, manipulate, analyze and interpret small and large sets of data.As a business analytics student at WMU, you will be eligible to apply for scholarships available through our department. To qualify, you will submit an online application that outlines your qualities as a student and how you plan to impact the world through information technology.If you're interested in hearing about the latest trends in technology straight from industry leaders, you'll want to attend the Western Michigan IT Forum. This on-campus event has featured high-profile speakers from companies such as Google, Kellogg, Pfizer, LinkedIn, IBM and Cisco.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education
- Submit high school graduation proof, certificates, marksheets etc
- Official documents should be translated into English if they are in other language
- Submit English language proficiency scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 71 in iBT; 7 in Essential
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 100
- PTE: minimum 48
