The Bachelor of Music in Performance-Jazz Studies major provides each student a curriculum which develops a fundamental skill set in music with specific training in Jazz Studies Performance. Coursework in music begins during the first semester of the freshman year in order that the comprehensive curriculum aligns with the general education requirements during the 4 year course of study. Majors should plan their course selections carefully with a departmental advisor.
