The Department of Visual Arts provides two Art Education options: The Thesis Option (30 semester credit hours) and the Professional Paper/Project Option (36 semester credit hours). Both options provide rigorous, transformative, student centered, and individualized programs of study. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have a bachelors degree in a relevant subject
- Submit official transcripts of all the institution attended earlier
- Applicant must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA in the last 60 hrs of undergraduate and 3.0 GPA overall
- Submit a statement of purpose of 1-2 pages describing your reasons for pursuing graduate work, background experience and professional goals
- Submit three letters of recommendation from persons familiar with your academic capabilities
- Submit English Language Proficiency Test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 26 in speaking section of iBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 7.5
- PTE: minimum score of 53
