Requirements

Academic Eligibility:

  • A Candidate needed to provide Senior School Certificate or School certificate awarded after standard XII.
  • English and math (advanced or academic) are required in grade 12.
  • Two Science 12 grade level is required.
  • One Additional 12-grade course (advanced or academic level) is needed.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they have any one of the following certificates:

  • All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSCE)
  • Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
  • Indian School Certificate (ISC)
  • Intermediate Examination Certificate
  • Pre-University Examination Certificate
  • Students must have a Grade XII chemistry or Grade XII physics.
  • Students also hold Grade XII math (Minimum math result of 55%).
Documents Requirements
  • Application Platforms: Use either the Common Application or the Coalition Application, both powered by Scoir.
  • Application Fee: A fee of $85 is required unless a fee waiver is requested and granted.
  • Standardized Tests: Submit SAT or ACT scores (with or without writing). Optional submission of AP or other examination results is also accepted.
  • Application Components:
    • Essays: Complete Harvard College Questions for the Common Application or the Coalition Application Harvard Supplement.
    • Transcripts: Provide a School Report (including a counselor letter) and high school transcript.
    • Recommendations: Submit two Teacher Reports.
    • Additional Reports: Midyear School Report (after your first semester grades) and Final School Report (for admitted students only).
  • Visa Requirements: International applicants need to apply for an F-1 student visa after receiving acceptance and obtaining a Form I-20 from Harvard University.
