The senior here are the best they helped us in every situations.
The teaching methodology followed by the faculty here is very good.

Dislikes

I hate the 75% compulsary attendance rule , which is not waived off for any reason no matter what the reason is.
I hate the fact that there is a shortage of classrooms and hostel accomodation for newer students.

There are various recruiting companies that recruit from the college and have a good placement ratio almost 90 per cent of students get placed with an average package of 11 lakhs. The highest package is 86 lakhs and the lowest package is 6.5 lacs

There is lots of friends who supports you . And making you happy 😊.
There is competitive environment in your college life

Campus is big but construction is not done truly .
Mess food is not good . And there is no non-veg food .

Placement Experience:

There are good placement statistics. Our grades are always increasing in terms of highest placement and average placement. But this year percent placement declined from 90% to 82% in 2023 but the average is about 14.06 lpa and 12.03lpa is the median salary. this time highest placement is about 86 lpa. And the lowest is 6 lpa. Some students pursue a higher degree and go to foreign and some of them prepare for gate and many more.

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIIT Nagpur for 2022-23 is 14.63 total average package of cse and ece branches combined with the highest package of 86lakhs of a student for the ECE branch. The student with no placement offers go for higher studies or they opt for off-campus placements. Around 90 percent s of students get placement offers. I will go for placement provided by the companies from my colleges.

Placement wise college really good which is the main thing
have a permanent campus which most iiit doesn't have

Dislikes

Mess food is not good, which we have to eat everyday
campus is 27 km away from Nagpur City so takes time to get there

Placement Experience:

Placement wise college is really good, the highest package is 86Lpa for ECE, the Average is 13 LPA for all branches and the Median is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA, 84% of students are placed in CSE and 79% in ECE, overall 82% students are placed in the campus.

The courses offered by the college is very well designed. It's compact and only the required skills are taught
The students are enthusiastic about coding and here you will get. enough opportunity to improve your coding skills.

Dislikes

Mess food is quite bad and affects my overall review of the college. The indifference of the college towards the mess is frustrating and we always feel helpless.
The internet is most of the time not available and there have been few attempts to improve that.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are improving each year as expected from an IT college. The average package overall this year was 14 lpa. This includes both on-campus and off-campus placements so don't be fooled by the college website. This is the percentage of students placed dropped to 80.

Placements are good in my opinion. Students get placement opportunities and internship opportunities from the third year itself. Avg for 2023 was around 13.5 and the median was 12. The highest offered was 86 I think.

Students become eligible after semester 7th for sitting in placement. There are a number of companies visiting us but good placements are from off-campus. The placement percentage is about 80 per cent. My plan is to startup with friends.

It is spread over a very large area and building are beautiful.
Infrastructure is good and sports facilities are ok.

Dislikes

The area in which it is situated is very far from city nagpur.
It's spread in very large area but nothing to see .

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario of our college is great and the AVG package this year was fabulous that was around 14lpa. and placement % was decent enough. both the branches are doing well. But everything written on Google is not always true beware of the nos. They provide u.

The Ultimate guide to IIITN: A Student's Perspective

Likes

I liked the challenging curriculum with relative grading. It was really difficult to get good grades.
Reachability from the city is good. College Bus service available everyday.

Dislikes

If you wanted good grades, you had to make good connections with the professors.
Extra-Curricular activities were sub-par.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Nvidia, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Nutanix etc. The highest package was offered at 44 lakhs per annum by Nutanix. 50% of the batch opted for placement and successfully got placed, others had planned for higher studies and other ventures. Placements aren't good enough to motivate students for opting placements. My plan after B.Tech was to get an MBA from a reputed B-school.
