In VIT there are various fee structure according to how much marks or rank you get in VITEEE exam there are 5 category I took admitission in 1 catagory my fees in 198000 per year which is nearly 800000 or 8 Lacks for completing my Degree. Here fee in 5th category get up to 500000 per year which is very high and not value for money. Also hostel fees and mess fees including both is 200000/ 2 lacks , I have taken 4bed-Ac room and veg mess. I vary as you change your room choices or mess choices. I think schlorships is for board and jee toppers not on behalf of any internal exam.

Campus gives good placements but the fees is a bit too high like some of them cannot afford and if you are staying in hostel it may cost you double but the teaching facilitiesa and your future opertunies are very good in vit

The fees structure here depends on the result of the entrance exam offered by the college. The first category is to be paid with Rs.200000 and it increases with Rs,100000 for each category. There are 5 categories. They provide inhand experience and stipends too. The courses are worthy.

In vit tuition are based on category wise Btech. Tuition fees for Category 1: 198000 Btech. Tuition fees for Category 2: 301000 For category 3 : 400000 For category 4 : 450000 For category 5 : 500000 Tuition fees doesn't increase however the mess and the hostel charges may increase year wise . Currently I am staying in 4 bed ac and my mess type is non veg which costs around 180000 annually taking both into consideration. Combined both tuition and hostel charges it comes to around 480000 per year .

Tution fees should be paid online through the website of VIT within an alloted date. The tution fees varies according to the fee category of the student and the course they choose. My course fee is almost 5 lakh per year which can be divided to 2 lakh advance payment and 3 lakh tution fees during the time of commencement of the classes. Other than that the hostel fees also varies according to the type of room the student choose. There 2 bed 4 bed and 6 bed rooms with Ac and non-Ac facilities. Staying in pg is not allowed for first year students who live beyond 100km radius of the college. There are certain criterias in the college brochure where the scholarships are mentioned. In the third year the students with no backlogs are eligible for internships. The college provides internship opportunities for the students through University career services, departmental notices and online portals. During the 7th and 8th sem placement training is given to the students for campus selections.

While admission, several few categories for each course is given, and according to students rank, availability of seats the category of fees is decided. The 1st category starts from 1,95,000/ year and goes on as category increases. Campus provides placement facilities and placement training and also provides industrial internships as well as research internships.

As mentioned before, if you get a good vit ranking then your course fee category will be less ( the lesser category the lesser course fee). As for me i have gotten category 1 and my course fee is 2lpa. If you get a rank under 1000, it is said that you can avail some scholarships but i have not experienced such thing yet.

The tuition fees in my knowledge is constant since quite a long time and I don't think they are going to increase it anytime soon. The fee structure is merit based so if a student gets a really good rank then they won't have to pay a lot fees fortunately. Indirectly, this acts as a scholarship/ financial aid. I have not taken any paid job roles in the campus yet and I am not sure if there are any at all.
ECE and CSE are two different departments, providing separate career opportunities. VIT Chennai and Amrita University Bangalore offer decent placement to students in these departments.
The points below give a brief overview of both the choices:
Therefore, both ECE at VIT Chennai and CSE at Amrita Bangalore are good options. It is the choice of the student as to what excites him/her the most and opts for a degree in the same.
