IET is a marvelous institute!!

Likes

It's the area and the facilities that made me fall in love with this college.
Since I was into badminton and I was not sure whether I will get that opportunity here but at IET, it's one of the best courts that I have ever seen.

Dislikes

Hostels inside the campus are not that well maintained and especially the boys hostels.

Placement Experience:

Placements one will not believe but yes we don't get 40-50Lakhs packages but we get jobs for sure. Last year our of 200+ CSE students almost 70% got job through campus. COFORGE, Cape Gemini and other national and overseas companies come to hire a majority of students. 6-15 lakhs is mostly the bracket and average falls somewhere between 8-9 lakhs.

It is an autonomous college. So faculty of IET only check end sem copies.
The sports complex is the centre of attraction of this college

Dislikes

Restrictions on students especially for first year students.
The limited number of sports fest organized in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very organized and well strucuted and focuses not only on the theoritical understanding of the students but also on the practical knowledge for them with modern demand topics like Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Cyber Security. The frequency of mid sem exams is once in two months. There are two mid sem exams.

The lavished green campus especially during rainy weather.
The competitive coding culture of the college.

Dislikes

The restrictions on the girls, can't go out after 8 pm.

Placement Experience:

Our college have well established training and placement cell and many companies visit college as well. And you will sit in placement from the starting of your seventh semester. If no campus placement is offered to me then i will go to our of campus placement. Because I am sure that I have to go for corporate job.

One thing I like in my college all the students are stay friendly
And some friends stay like a brother and it's very superior

Dislikes

Things I dislike more have not a cricket play ground
And not organised cricket game our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is good because this course have many languages which is used for app development web development work on ai machine learning etc.. it's very useful language and job opportunities is very high from this course with a good package

i like the faculty of college. they are very experienced in their domain.
college have maintained greenery very well in campus which is truly good. college infrastructure is also god and have all facilities which is required for students.

Dislikes

college campus in not too big its average.
college is too much strict for attendance, you have to maintain 75% attendance for appearing in sem exams.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are elegible for placements. more than 150+ companys visit college for placements many of them are mass recruiters like wipro tcs cognizant etc. Highest package is around 54 lakh at atlassian, the average package landed between 6-7 lakhs. in year 2023 nearly 80% students got placed and there are 100% placement in cse branch. my plans after getting degree is to do job for 3-4 years and gain experience of industry and then start my own venture.

The girl to boy ratio is much better in comparison go government college
The competitive coding culture and club of the college

The infrastructure like old lecture theatre and old building of Computer science engineering department.

Placement Experience:

The average package of the Institute is 8,20,00. The highest domestic package is 47 LPA and the highest international package is 1.2 CPA. Some of the past recruiting companies are humming wave, hero fincorp. , TCS, Paytm, Contlo and many more. The students from 5th semester are eligible to sit for placement.

Alumni network is good and we have our alumni placed at top companies like Google Microsoft Zeta morgan Stanley Goldman Sachs etc
Course structure is good we have facilities of labs and other activities are also promoted.

Dislikes

You can not move out of the campus after 10 pm at night.
Work at sports complex is not yet finished.

Placement Experience:

Placement at IET Lucknow is decent we can say as our senior gets placement at top companies every year . Companies like Intuit, Google, Paytm, Microsoft, Zeta, morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, slice , rubrik etc hire students from IET Lucknow.

One thing i like about my college is lineancy in attendance criteria like there is no strictness for 75% criteria .
If i talk about co curricular activities we have dancing , dramatics, singing , literary societies in our college

Dislikes

If you see the girl to boy ratio it is 1:7 which can be one disadvantage but if you see it is common in btech collegees
Other thing is about culture fests like we have limited culture fests and their scale is also very small

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement since there 7th sem. Recently google and de shaw came for summer internship. My friend also got internship in google with the help of placement cell. Frequently humming wave, contlo , genpect , tcs comes in our college for campus recruitment. If i talk about recent years 14 LPA is the highest one and average was about 4-5 LPA . Most pf the students get the placement if they are eligible. I want campus placement as my backup option.

Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University isn’t a good option for pursuing technical courses. The curriculum followed by the institute is outdated. You will only learn the theoretical aspects of engineering. It doesn’t offer the practical hands-on experience students require to excel in the technical field.

Most students usually get placed in the IT sector, irrespective of their branches. The highlights of recent AKTU placements show the average package offered by the institute to be around INR 2-3 LPA.
