Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
Students must have the following requirements:
Entry Year 1
- SQA Higher: BBC to include Art & Design and English (or a written subject requiring the use of English)
- GCE A Level: BC to include Art & Design and English (or a written subject requiring the use of English e.g. History).
- Irish Leaving Certificate Higher: H3H3H3 to include Art and English (or a written subject requiring the use of English)
- IB Diploma: 24 to include Higher Level Visual Arts and English (or a written subject requiring the use of English).
Entry Year 2
- GCE A Level: BCC to include Art & Design and English (or a written subject requiring the use of English).
- IB Diploma: 27 to include Higher Level Visual Arts and English (or a written subject requiring the use of English).
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Students must have passed 12th grade from a recognized institution.
- Students must have Grade C or better in English and Maths.
- A post-high school qualification (i.e. a higher national diploma, an associate degree) can be considered for advanced entry to undergraduate courses. Applications will be considered on a case by case basis
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

The course will provide students with a wide range of transferable and professional skills ensuring they will be equipped for a diverse range of careers within the creative and cultural industries and society as a whole.
Students may develop their individual creative practice through exhibitions, residencies, public art projects, and many other forms of arts-related activity. Options include independent production, publishing, advertising, curatorial and archival work, gallerists, video & TV, arts administration, teaching, and community arts.
There is also the option of extending student's academic experience through postgraduate study at Grays School of Art or other postgraduate institutions.
