- This course has been designed to incorporate guidance from the Communications-Electronics Security Group (CESG), a group within the UK Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), as well as the Institute of Information Security Professionals’ (IISP) Information Security Skills framework.
- The course reflects current issues and industry requirements, assisting the drive towards improved cyber security provision at a national level.
- This program is for those seeking to improve their technical understanding of cyber security, IT services and risk management, and how this relates to the wider business and customer-facing needs. During the course students will develop specialist skills in cyber security, risk and information management, underpinned with software and networked systems.
- Students will also learn to use a wide range of cyber security-related tools and techniques, alongside technical skills in computer programming, software engineering, cloud and database development.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic entry requirements:
- We require successful completion of a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 with an overall average of 65% or above.
- If students do not meet these requirements they may be eligible to study the foundation program.
Mathematics entry requirements
- Students need the equivalent of GCSE Mathematics grade C/4.
English language requirements
- Students are not required to provide an English Certificate if they achieve a score of 65% or above on the English Language subject of their a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12.
