Admission Requirements

• Applicants will normally be expected to hold a degree with a minimum 2:2 honours, or equivalent (3-year Bachelor’s Degree with 55%-65%)
• Applications are also welcome from those with non-standard entry qualifications.

India Requirements

• 75% minimum 12th standard English across all boards
• Please note that the University does not accept 12th-standard English marksheets from the National Institute of Open Schooling or Vocational Boards.
• In addition, the University does not accept 12th standard English mark sheets from any of the states below (both State and Central boards): Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh

• The University accepts IELTS Academic only from the above states.

English Proficiency Score

• IELTS Overall score of 6.5 (Min 5.5 in each sub-skill)
• TOEFL iBT Overall Score of 91 (Min sub skill: Listening: 19, Reading: 20, Speaking: 21, Writing: 20)
• Pearson PTE Overall score of 65 (Min. 59 in each sub-skill)

Estimated Amount Required to Show

Students have evidence of sufficient funds to pass a maintenance test (currently £10,224 + unpaid tuition fees) and evidence that these funds have been held for at least 28 continuous days. The University of Chester requests that the bank statements you provide us, also show that you have maintained an additional £200 to cover any currency fluctuations which may occur.
