Remarks :

Overall above average. College appointed new staffs for expert teaching. The playing ground is small. This ground is common for all games and sport. Gym facilities and canteen are excellent. College is affiliated by NAAC and NBA accredited.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This college is controlled by Anna university chennai, so the college follow the standard of Anna university. Each semester have six subject except final semester. College conduct one semester exam and four cycle test.

Placement Experience :

placement is proper, college placement cell controls all about the placement. Minimum 60 students got placement in many companies. Many multinational and national companies gave many vacancies to the students.

College Events :

Festivals, sports, cultural programs are celebrated and conducted by college. Students can celebrate their own department functions. Festivals of kerla and Tamil nadu has been celebrated. Onam and pongal are main festivals celebrated by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees are feasible for civil engineering , mechanical engineering , automobile engineering but for petroleum engineering, food technology and petrochemical engineering fees collected by college is very high.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Don't know about any scholarship or loan facility offered by the college. I think their is a scholarship for Tamilnadu students which include fees deduction. Basically no other loan or scholarship for students especially for other state students.

Campus Life :

Labs are excellent. Sports and extra curricular activities are average. Hostel students can play any sports or games after regular class. Sports day are conducted by college in every year. Cricket, football, kabadi and volleyball are mainly played.

Hostel Facilities :

College have hostel for both girls and boys. The hostel rooms are very congested. The rest rooms are below average. Food provided by the college is worst. Students always complain about the food and water.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, senior students helps junior in studies and sports. They gave previous year notes and text to juniors. Juniors are like brothers. They support and help Juniors. They are also good teachers to juniors.

Admission :

Yes, i got admission in the college. I payed 10000 rupees for admission and payed 60000 rupees for first semester. This college introduced to me by admission agency. I took this college because, it is near to my home.

Faculty :

Each subject is taken by a faculty. Most of the faculties are below average especially staffs from petroleum and petrochemical engineering. Teaching skill of facualities of civil engineering are good.

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA.
