Remarks :
The infrastructure facilities of my college is very good. The education provided is also of good quality. The laboratories are also good. Only the fees is somewhat expensive for me. Other facilities are also very good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I feel that some of the subjects are irrelevant like chemistry etc. Whereas other subjects like Data Structures, DAA , etc. are very helpful in our future endeavours also. The exam structure for each subject is as follows- 4 assignment tests of 10 marks each 2 class tests of 20 marks each 1 Pre University exam of 70 marks External theory exam of 70 exams Practical exams of total 100 marks are also conducted for the practical subjects.
Placement Experience :
The placement opportunities are good. Infosys is the mass recruiter of our college. More than 300 students with an average package of 3.6 lpa were placed in Infosys. Others had higher package of 8 lpa. There are other companies like Wipro, Byju who offered jobs with the highest package of 10 lpa.
College Events :
Many events are celebrated in our college every year. First is the WAVES- the freshers party to welcome the new students. The biggest event of the year is IGNITIA- a 2 day techno cultural fest. Also many workshops and seminars are conducted over the year. Annual sports day is observed on 14 November.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
I belong to a middle class family. Hence the fees is somewhat expensive for my family to pay every year. Both turion fees and hostel fees in total cost a little too much for us to pay. But we submit the fees in installments to reduce the burden.
Fees and Financial Aid :
I don't know about any scholarship provided by the college. But the college provides small cash rewards to GATE qualified students. Also I don't think that the college provides any loan facilities to students.
Campus Life :
Extra curricular activities are promoted in our college. We have various clubs like theatre club, dance club, music club, English club etc. Also sports is actively played by the students and they participate in various events outside of college also. Laboratories are very well maintained and lab periods are provided properly.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel infrastructure is good. Water and electricity facilities are very good. The food provided in the mess is also good. Rooms are spacious and two people share a room. An almirah, a bed, table and chair are provided in the hostel.
Alumni/Alumna :
The seniors are really good and very friendly. We and the seniors are part of may clubs and do many activities together. As a result a very beautiful bond of friendship gets developed between the seniors and juniors. I also have many seniors who guidee about my career and are my very good friends.
Admission :
There is an all India examination known as UPSEE. It is conducted every year for admission in BTech in various colleges affiliated to AKTU. I gave the exam and my marks and rank helped me in getting my current college through counseling. After that I came to the college and took admission after providing necessary documents.
Faculty :
The faculty is very learned. Most of them have an experience of more than 5 years. Some of them have been teaching for over 15 years. So they have a lot of experience and possess good knowledge. The faculty is very helpful and they clear our doubts whenever we ask them to. They teach in a very interactive way and have made our concepts strong.
