Remarks :
The college gives good exposure to the students in various aspects like academics, sports, extra curricular activities and career. There is no such complaint, except for the mess food which is an issue in every hostel. The faculties are quite serious about studies and attendance. The environment is safe and amicable for everyone.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The exam structure is student friendly. There is a proper gap between each semester for smooth completion of syllabus and required provision of holidays. There is adequate gap between each subject. The curriculum provides knowledge on latest industry needs and practical exposure.
Placement Experience :
Our college claims to provide 100% placements. Though the oackage provided to the core branch students is comparatively low. Our college has an interactive training and placement cell which trains us well. Internships are provided through internship camps held by Entrepreneurship Cell. The students get good exposure to practical problems and market needs.
College Events :
Kiit fest- a grand cultural and technical fest with huge opportunity to show case talent and earn money. A three extravaganza with star night and DJ. Kritarth- this fest has various contests and usually has a theme based on social issues. 2 day fest with star night and cultural night. KIIT MUN- largest MUN conference in Asia. Chimera- the fest hosted by the medical department where technical students take part too. Star night and DJ are integral parts. Suhana safar- music and dance extravaganza to mark the birth anniversary of Rafi.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Very expensive. It is one of the most expensive colleges in India. 2 lacs per semester, for b tech, approximately. Scholarships are provided to meritorious students based on their performance in each semester.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The three toppers in each semester from each branch are given scholarships. Students can also study taking education loans. The reduction in tuition fees are based on merit. I have not availed for loan.
Campus Life :
The labs are well equipped with modern technology. There are societies for proper cultivation of extra curricular activities. Our college has BCCI acclaimed cricket ground. There are separate football ground, hockey stadium, basket ball court, volley ball court, table tennis court, swimming pools, billiards boards. There are many gyms in the campus.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are well furnished. There are options on AC and non AC. There are two bedded, three bedded and single bedded room. There are also options for public and attached bathroom. Mess is compulsory for each resident.
Alumni/Alumna :
There is a club for alumni called K Konnect. All the alumni are well established, pursuing great heights in their lives. The seniors are very helpful and caring. The campus is ragging free and there is a cordial relationship between every student.
Admission :
I did appear for KIITEE entrance exam, got qualified and was called for counseling. After proper selection of branch and payment method, the admission was confirmed. That is how I got into the college.
Faculty :
Every faculty is well qualified from reputed universities with masters and doctorate degree. The university pays heed to the feedback forms filled by students on faculties, thus giving enough attention to students.
