  • The college posses strong academics but lacks experience in the industry, needs more internships, more workshops and seminars to give a link to the world of jobs.
  • PGDAV College fees is increased and are now burdening financially weaker students. Scholarships may be available but may not fully cover the fee hikes.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum that the PGDAV college has is quite relevant and really comprehensive. It also aligns well with the contemparory industry standards providing sufficent theorectical ground as well as practical exposur. Core subjectas and elective options go hand in hand to ensure a holisticeducation to possible avenues of career.

Internships Opportunities :

PGDAV college provides students wwith opportunities for internship largely with help of company collabrations, alumini networks and faculty contacts. some of the companies that previously provide the internship are: deloitte, HDFC bank, zomatto , ernst and young, and KPMG

Placement Experience :

PGDAV college does not have a formal campus placement but the college provides good career supports through workshops, internships and alumini networks. Many students get their job through their personal efforts or external internships.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Annual fee structures for the BCom courses at PGDAV College, Delhi University are subject to changes every year, depending on the category of the students to changes every year depending on the category of students. In the commencing year of the fee, it almost started with Rs.16500 and then increased to about Rs.18000 the next year. It covers the tution, development, laboratory (if needed), admission, caution money as well as registration fees. Last year, the fees were around Rs.16500, and the same have now been raised to about Rs.18000. Well, that seems to be the standard annual hike that many colleges apply. A friend of mine enrolled in Economic(Hons) in one of the other DU colleges adn his fees started at at Rs.14000 and became Rs.17000 after then first year. Many from these and other students will find assitance from scholarships, as well as funds available for financial aid, such as merit-cum-need-based scholarship schemes, which are meant for the less privileged. The sum of the scholarship schemes, which are meant for lessprivileged. Thse sum of the scholarship is given according to thse student's perfomance and the background of his/her finances. While few scholarships cover part of tution fees, other scholarships distribute grants and stipends that are merit-based or other need-basefunding. As funds come exclusively through instituional or government sources, the names and amounts get changed every year.

Campus Life :

Campus life at PGDAV college is great with active participation in cultural events, sports and oyther student clubs such as drama, music and debate. The infrastructure of college is well maintained with spacious classrom and well stocked library and computer labs that support both acdemic and extracarricular growth.

Admission :

I chose PGDAVE college for its strong acdaemic reputation, faculty and convenient south delhi location. Compared to other colleges , it offered a balance eneviornment with competetive fees. i did not get into some prestigious colleges of du due to high cut off.

Faculty :

The qualified professors of PGDAV college, Delhi University, are an experience and dedicated a lot to impart quality education. They are really well- versed with their field and they go beyond textbook teaching to encourage critical thinking and acdemic curiosity. The faculty members are extremely approchable in providing students with extra help during office hours or after classesz so that students can clarify their dubts. Many professors are friendly with students and seek to make their learning experience alive through the application of modern teaching tools and means. The course structure at PGDAV colleges is aligned with guidelines of Delhi University. To illustrate the case, the Bcom course xonsits of core subjects such as Accounting, Bussines Law , Ecnomics and Finance. In addition to a few elective options as per the specialization chosen.

Night Life :

The nighlife around is quite great due to its location in South Delhi. Therea are lots of cafes, restaurants and hangout places nearby college where students can relax and socialize after colege hours. however the college itself maintain a quieter more acddemic enviornment during late evenings.

Other Applied Colleges

Christ University | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] (Business Analytics)

I choose Delhi University over Christ University because of the prestige it carries, its diverse academic environment, and better opportunities for personal growth, networking, and exposure in the capital city

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum should be student-centered and flexible enough to support the learning needs of all students. It should also meet the current and long-term needs of students. A comprehensive curriculum should focus on all domains of learning, including social-emotional, physical, and cognitive.
