Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is perfectly designed. And they alter the course curriculum through the years as per the requirement. The inclusion of clinical papers prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. There is some improvement required in the Management subjects which are being taught. They are not a bit properly structured as compared to Law subjects.

Placement Experience :

As our university is a new one the placements are not that effective over here. We do have a Recruitment Co ordination Cell from where we get constant opportunities for placements and our seniors had also got placed in a lot of offices. The internship opportunities provided by them are good. In may of the top tier firms our students have worked.

Fees and Financial Aid :

In birla global university the fee they charged for us was Rs. 80,000/- per semester and every odd semester we are required to pay insurance fee of Rs. 3000/-. That makes Rs. 1,63,000/- per year and additionally if we tak up hostel facilities for triple occupancy the fees is Rs. 72,200/- per semester. The security deposit of Rs. 15,000/- is also to be paid which is refundable as per the terms. We also have a scholarship based on the merit. The terms of it are as below: - 90% or more in 12th and 10th - waiver of 25% from the total fees. - 80% or more in 12th and 10th - waiver of 20% from the total fees. - 70% or more in 12th and 10th - waiver of 15% from the total fees. - 60 % or more in 12th and 10th - waiver of 10% from the total fees. The accommodation fees is divided as below: - Rs. 30,600 - Hostel Room - Rs. 30,600 - Mess facilities - Rs. 3000 - Laundry Fees. There is no bias in the fees on the basis of caste reservation.

Campus Life :

I would rate the campus life as 4 out of 5. every year we have an annual fest Spectra, which is a 3 day long event where several artists come to perform and it is a 3 day event several events takes places which also included Inter university culutral events as well as an annual sports fest ATOS, this is an Inter University Sports competition. Recently the BAJMC course had also launched its own fes, Mediosa which was a success. The library facilities are kind of average not a lot of books available and to be precise it is a very small one.

Hostel Facilities :

I have been staying in the campus hostel itself. The room and all are pretty good. We are equipped with an AC, its a triple occupancy room. The geezer is also provided to us. I myself dont like the mess menu over here as it is mostly odia oriented cuisines. The registration process is pretty easy, firstly we need to file an application with the accounts department pay the fees and then we will be alloted a room if its available or else we are put on waiting list.

Admission :

I have applied for a lot of colleges but the reason i choose this college was the student interaction was encouraged here. If we compare to other colleges the teaching methodology is a bit different faculty comes teaches and goes but here we are required to come learnt to the class before hand and be involved along with the teacher. We are also required to teach sometimes along with the faculty.

Faculty :

The faculty student relationship is really good in the college. Through the mentorship programme each faculty will be tagged along with some students and who interact with them and be there whenever required not only through the academic issues but also all other issues. One of our ex-faculty punyashlok sir who was an amazing faculty and the way he used to teach was very different and he used to make me understand every little thing so precisely. Currently, Swagath sir has an amazing way of teaching he teaches in a practical way which makes the class interesting and interactive. We have a Semester exam of 50 marks and 50 marks will be internal assessment which consists of various activities such as contract drafting, viva, presentation, role play of the cases, mediation and ets., The clinical papers bring us a lot more exposure to us. Like we have a clinical paper for mediation where we were required to perform a mock mediation and on basis of that we were awarded marks for our exam. The practical approach in the university is very good.

Interview Experience :

Yes, I had an interview round during my process of admission, I was asked several questions about some of the legal matters which are trending at that time and some questions about general knowledge and current affairs. But currently they are also considering CLAT Score and then interview for the admission process.

Night Life :

In night life students go around and play, practice for the sports. And also we have this bonfire event where every gather around sing songs and play around. The gym is equipped with all the major machines which are required the timings are 5-8:00 Am in the morning and 5:00-8:00 Pm in the evening. The nicer place to hangout is the rock garden and near the badminton court. The cafeteria is also pretty good, they have various food items which are tasty enough. We also have a nescafe in the campus, which serves all type of coffee, tea and also maggie, sandwich, pasta, rice bowls etc.,
