  • Campus is big but not a closed campus it's an open campus
  • We can go out in campus after 8 p.m. if you are in hostel

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is bit old and need improvement. They should design it with keeping modern trends in mind like A.I. and also DSA using c language in 2nd year is not good they should teach in other language.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 1600000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements are decent in this college not very good not very bad. Average package that is offered here is 6 lpa which is better tha other colleges. And if one work hard they can grab big package for sure.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The academic fees for per year in computer science is 384000. Yes there is a scholarship, if you get rank under 1000 in kiiteee exam at time of admission you will recieve 10000 per month till 4 years.

Campus Life :

Social life here is one of the best a college can offer. We get every sports facilities, so many clubs, big campus to roam around, easy access to day to day important stuffs. But only demerit is campus is an open campus so we cannot enjoy at night.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are good better than other colleges hostel. And you should take hostel in starting years so you can learn many things about many things. Students help you when it's exam time and enjoy when there is no exam.

Hostel Fee : INR 100000 per year

Admission :

I choose this college over other colleges because infrastructure of this college is very so lab facilities are awesome, and this is a famous college around my hometown where placements are good. As this college is famous it will surely attract big companies in near future.

Faculty :

Faculties are very good here most of them are doctorate and teaches good. Course structure which I feel is a bit old they should improve it to modern trends like instead of teaching DSA in c language they should teach in other more useful language.

Night Life :

Night life in the area of college is very good, you get clubs, resturants and malls here open till late night but about the campus it's open so juniors are not allowed to go out after 8 p.m. but you can enjoy in hostel.

Placement Experience:

KIIT offers 100% with all students getting placed with an average package of 8 lakhs per annum. Usually, students are eligible from the end of 6th semester for campus placements. Till now we have had over 113 companies visit us this fall with companies such as Deloitte, Infosys, YugaByte, Junglee Games, KPMG, GoComet, and many more with the highest package offered to be 52 lakhs per anum. I plan to work as a software engineer after getting my degree!
