  • The college locality is indeed outskirts and therefore the auto and taxis charge too much if we have to move out of the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Law or legal studies are indeed one of the most interesting studies. Law cases ranging from 19th century to all the big cases of this century are discussed in our course. From Muslim law board to Securities and property law, all aspects of legal case studies are there in our course.

Placement Experience :

Mostly it's the law firms like Indus Law, Globus, PICT and others. The payment scale therefore is less when it is compared with NLSIU or other NLUs. Some private companies like the UB Group and ITC amoung other others are also coming to hire students who have chosen corporate law as their main electives.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fees for Presidency School of Law is 14000 and it's same for everyone unless they are from backward class. They have state scholarship worth 40-50% waive off and hence their fees is half than ours.

Campus Life :

Most events are sponsored as a National Debate Competition was held this month and it was sponsored by Power Grid. One of the best events of the college is Karnataka Rajyotsava where folk dance and skits describing our state culture is portrayed. All departmental short film celebration was also held and likewise each department get their own events apart from a combined fest of the university called Invincia.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are amazing though quite strict as even boys can't get out of the hostels after 10pm. There is a recreational room in the hostel and that also has a TV. Mess are quite a few and food served in them is also amazing.

Admission :

Our college just take 12th score and a small interview round. I gave CLAT and NLSIU was my target. However, it's unfortunate that I couldn't get that and therefore had to look for private colleges. Presidency is indeed the least crowded and best also the best when it comes to academics.

Faculty :

Well Niharika Mam is the one who is tend to be everybody's favourite. Securities and investment law is whatbshe taches and because it's more of a commerce thing and for arts students like us it becomes really difficult to graspt that. However, she has ensured that we get a proper hang of it.

Night Life :

High Court is not far from our campus and that's an advantage we have over other colleges and universities that offers law studies. Cubbon Park and Bengaluru Palace are best hang out spots. For munching we have a top cafe in Cafe Lucid.

Campus placements of law department are in full swing. Real estate developer like the Shobha Developer and The UB group are among the ones who needs lawyers regularly and this is where we get placements. Many law firms like Phoenix Legal, Sai Krishna and Associates among many have hired many of us in the past for an annual package between 6-10 Lakhs per annum.

As i am in my 3rd year of law degree we are not yet informed about the placement process yet. As getting knowledge from other seniors and friends the placement chances are low in the degree of law compared to other courses. My plans after getting degree is to do my higher studies that is LLM

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is the best in karnataka for a pvt law school, and ranked top 13 in india for law schools. Its very convenient for bangaloreans to attend here as of its location. They have a very well built campus and infra which is clean and green. The course is application oriented. We have a lot of moots, trials and other legal competitions held within and outside college, helps in real life law. We have tests every month and 2 end sem examsn in a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I FEEL LIKE THE SUBJECTS OFFERED ARE REALLY HELPFUL TOWARDS OUR CAREER BECAUSE WE HAVE -POLITICAL SCIENCE - IT WILL HELP US TO UNDERSTAND THE FUNCTIONS OF STATE , SOVEREIGNTY , POWER ETC. SOCIOLOGY WILL HELP US TO UNDERSTAND THE SOCIETY. ECONOMICS IS ALL ABOUT MAKING DECISIONS. LEGAL METHOS HEPS US TO KNOW WHAT LAW ACTUALLY MEANS AND IT'S VARIOUS FUNCTIONS. GENERAL ENGLISH ALSO PLAYS A VITAL ROLE AS IT HELPS TO USE THE RIGHT TERMS AND FRAME THE RIGHT SENTENCES WHICH IS REALLY NECESSARY FOR LAWYERS.

Placement Experience:

The semester from its winds become eligible for campus placements is ninth semester. Companies like CAM , SAM , Trilegal do visit us during placement period. Usually we have 15 to 20 offers that are made to students The highest package that has been offered is about 18 lakhs. And the average is ten lakhs Only the top 10% students get placements. Others have to get through their own merit outside placements. My plan after getting degree is too pursue Technology law.
