University campus is very big and peaceful

Course Curriculum Overview :

This college is near to my home. Also it offers wonderful placement opportunities. I have no idea how the curriculum will influence my career later as i am a first year student Exam are not that difficult if you study regularly

Internships Opportunities :

Various internship opportunities are provided to students. Students get to do internship in many companies like OIL, ONGC and colleges like Tezpur University, Jorhat Engineering College, IITG and Assam Engineering College

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for placement drives from 5th semester onwards. Various placement opportunities from OIL, ONGC, BCPL, NRL are provided here Also many other companies and startups visit this college every year I plan to get placed in the campus drives or else will persue mtech

Fees and Financial Aid :

Admissions fees 10645 1st sem to 3rd sem 50000 4rd sem to 8 sem 40000 Various scholarships are provided for under privileged children. Scholarships include Ishan udoy , Nijut Moina ,ONGC, and scholarship from NSP portal

Campus Life :

Many festivals are held every month A range of books, journals and magazines are available in the library. Classrooms are well equipped with modern technology like projectors, TVs etc All kinds of sports are played here Many student run groups and clubs are available here

Hostel Facilities :

Rooms are very spacious and well maintained. The meal quality is not that good in the boys hostel but is is edible. The chief warden is responsible for matters like registration, and expulsion of students Hostels are very affordable for us

Hostel Fee : INR 29800 per year

Admission :

I was alloted a seat in other college after i took admission in this college. So there was no other option. Also i heard this college is known for the petroleum and mechanical departments. So i came to this college

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio us good. It is 1:45 on average There are no particular teacher that i like. All of them are very good. The best teachers are our English, BEE and Maths Teacher Only one sessional was held this semester

Night Life :

Gym is open from early morning to late evening every day along with the library. There are five cafeterias inside the campus which are a wonderful hangout spots. There are no specific intime but we generally return to our rooms by 9pm I like the campus market more than the other places

Placement Experience:

The placement in my college is moderate Various companies and startups visit here every here. OIL, NRL, ONGC, BCPL visit here specially for petroleum and mechanical students But still it is hard to get placed here as only the top students are allowed to sit in interviews. I plan to prepare for GATE later.

Maybe after 3year students are getting placed for companies There is many companies like Wipro, Ultracement etc for placement the percentage is also little bit good. In this field we can get only place in good companies if we have good skill
