  • College elections are the worst time when a student should stay at home .
  • College campus is a bit small . It's because one building of RLAC. Is given to Aryabhatta college for some time but in upcoming 1-1.5 years RLAC will get it back . Then many more subjects will be introduced in college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Like choosing History as a course was one of the good decision. As when we sit in any government based examination many questions are asked from history subject. In BA History Honours we study Ancient, Mediaeval, Modern History of India ;History of Europe , America , China , Japan , USSR , S-E Asia etc. Overall we study history in broad and cover all the aspects related to it.

Placement Experience :

In RLAC there is a placement cell which work for providing placements . Every year many companies ( big/ small) come and choose the liable students for their companies. Looking back into not many MNLC s have approached to college but yes by looking at the stats it can't be said that MNlCs don't approach.

Fees and Financial Aid :

For 1 year subjects incuding History, Political science, Hindi , English; fee to be paid is 11000 Rs. Microbiology, Statistics, Mathematics; it's 15400 / Bcom -14300Rs. Computer science -65140 Rs. Geology - 24200 Management studies -25930 Rs. (This structure is for candidates belonging from General category, for other categories fee varies and can be checked on college website) Students belonging from J&K and other North - East region who are studying under any scholarship, their fees is directly paid and don't require to pay by their own .

Campus Life :

There are many societies for singing , Dance , painting, Acting etc. There are societies who work for proving equality inside campus like EQUAL OPPORTUNITY CELL which organise big events , involving civil servants to come and discuss the means and value of equality in the country. There is society for Upsc aspirants also .

Admission :

When we Talk about RLAC it has the finest Faculty in History department in whole Delhi University. There are many teachers who have written , published their Articles and books which are being circulated in whole Delhi University, other universities , used as a medium to study.

Faculty :

One advice to all the students Is not to miss classes . If if you are going to miss it make sure there is someone in class who is going to mark present on behalf of you . Out of 100 marks per subject 25 marks are of attandance and assignment , representation. So one who is scoring 6gpa in written exam can get 7gpa if his / her internal assessment marks is full . Here professor are very good and liable like Rakesh Kumar , Shachi Meena , K.G. Tyagi , Mrs . Parul , Rajiv Kumar, Pratik Kumar , Vikas yadav . These all are from History Dept. And are the best teachers one can have . After completing the degree these professors provide a letter of recommendation also to the needful students. Earlier the B.A course was of three years but now it's for 4 years , each year consisting 2 semester .

Night Life :

Around college the night life is awesome . Like the nearby places where students live is Satya Niketan ( too costly) ,Munirka (not costly) . In Satya Niketan there are clubs , restaurant where one can enjoy at night , festival days .

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts from the fifth semester, that is from the last year of the course. Different companies like Delloite, IBM, etc visits for placement opportunities and as far as I knew, the lowest CTC in the year 2022 was around 6lakhs per annum. I did my post-graduation later on so I never went through the placement process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good. Real-world experiences are also provided. Practicals and experiments are conducted. Although teaching methods can be significantly improved by the college faculty. The faculty is very rude

Placement Experience:

The placement is pretty descent, last year placements came nd guys got around 70 k to 90k per month jobs after graduation. Although the placement doesn't happen on regular basis but if u r good in ur language nd u have good connections with siniors the u can get internships very easily nd u can earn pretty good amount while doing ur degree.
