  • Nothing much its just the little strictness that is what i dont like much but obviously when you are at such a prestigious institute you are bound to be little restricted.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is optimally designed to make us well versed with all the medical knowledge required for us for being a well educated medical professional. We are taught by best teachers in the country and our patient inflow is also very good helping us learn a lot in clinical postings

Internships Opportunities :

We are offered internship in our hospital itself wherein we are rotated for a year in various different departments including medicine, surgery, pediatrics, etc. where we learn a lot about the department, various procedures and how a hospital works. We are also paid a monthly salary of ?35,000 during the one year of our internship

Fees and Financial Aid :

We pay complete payment for entire 5 and half years altogether right at the time of admission. The total fees including hostel fees and tution fees is ?5856. So from that we can calculate roughly the fees of AIIMS is ?1000 per year which is way too affordable.

Campus Life :

My overall experience is very good till now..!!! We have lot of fun apart from studies. The night life is decent here in bhopal. We also went on lot of road trips. We also went to a batch trip to manali. There are 2 world heritage sites here in madhya pradesh so we visited that too and we also have lot of fests and events in our college on top of this...!! So overall its been quite a wholesome experience..

Admission :

I applied to AIIMS New Delhi as well but my rank was AIR 237 which was not enough to get into it so i chose AIIMS Bhopal as my second preference and got selected into it and trust me three years down the line i dont regret my choice for even a second as my college has all the facilities be it educational or extracurricular that one can ask for.

Faculty :

The faculties are well trained and are very experienced in their respective fields with lot of experience in teaching as well as research. The exam system is pretty simple, we have end semester exams after every semester and at last we have prefinals and finals, thats it!! Mostly students get passed in their exams but even if u fail there is always a second chance... We have supplementary exams just 3 months after the main exam during which your regular classes will be going on as it is. The 75% attendance requirement is quite strict in some departments which is also a huddle to paas apart from exams..!!

Night Life :

We have gym that is open till 10pm. Our campus is open for us all the time apart from that nightlife in bhopal is above average. We have 2-3 good clubs in a mall (DB Mall) here in bhopal. Apart from that night life is not much interesting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is MBBS.it is quite a rigorous course with lot of comprehensiveness and workload. Relevance to the course is there. The curriculum is pretty important as it trains us well enough for the outside world and how to deal with it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course obviously has everything to make a good doctor. Being a doctor will place you in emergency situations sometimes and we are taught well how to deal with them. Although as MBBS doctors the spectrum of patients we see are limited. Its only after post-grad that u can get to see more patients.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum is one the few best developed ones which provides real time problem solving at an actual working facility. The medical college is a part of a tertiary care government hospital to provide , train and allow students to apply the knowledge acquired to utilise to treat the patient under the supervision and guidance of the faculty cum doctors at the hospital. The student feels the pride and responsibility of becoming a doctor and the special attribute the profession holds as a life savior of the society. The curriculum is constantly under modification and scrutiny under the nmc with several reforms over the past decades. Few aspects where more improvement might be done is the more clinical teaching at the initial years of course., which is currently started from 3-4 year. The exams are held often frequently with an internal assessment every 3-4 months followed by a pre- university and university exams each year. The exams hold a difficulty level of above average, making only the ones genuinely preparing for it to pass the exam. The passing percentage is 50 for each exam individually for practical and theoretical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a professional course and you do need skills to treat patients as it may become a matter of life and death. The teaching curriculum is as per the guidelines of NMC which is a central body and consists again of great doctors with reputation all over India. So, I don't really think that I can really suggest any means to improve that.
