  • The technological snag sometimes made it difficult for us to enter and exit the campus
  • Sometimes the online attendance systems used to mark students absent inspite of them being present in the classes

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was very much easier for people than I anticipated. It focused on the phonetics as well as in the written aspect as well. We were taught to prepare itenaries and bank receipts in the course of French Language for Specific Purpose that used real-world applications of preparation of formal emails and bank letters. The only flaws was that teachers were at times very much strict with the pronunciation of words. Even if a small mistake happened from the students they scolded them a lot. The internals used to take place after one and the half months of the beginning of the semester and the end sems took place during the beginning of the sixth month.

Fees and Financial Aid :

We were charged 52k (32k for the first semester and 20k as the security deposit). In the second semester the fees was 34k so was in the third and fourth semester as well. In the fifth and final semester the fees was 36k.

Campus Life :

Amity Youthfest is very much popular as we had star night that included celebritys like Darshan Raval and even John Abraham. The library was the best place with ample space and study materials. Inter department sports events were quite common especially Sangathan that used to happen in the first week of November.

Admission :

Nope. I wasn't eligible for other colleges due to my low percentage as well as the deadline for the last dates were also over. Minimum 50 percent in the twelfth standard was the eligibility criteria for my course.

Faculty :

The faculty for the French Department are very much helpful and approachable. I liked my HoD(Head of the Department) Mr I.S. Kochar. He helped me a lot. He guided me a lot and helped me a lot by inspiring me to be a better student. There have been some professors who have also heen biased and strict with me at times when it wasn't needed. There are two exams internals(midsems) and externals(end sems). The midsems carried 30 marks and endsems carried 50 marks with 15 marks for activities and 5 marks for the attendance.

Night Life :

Gyms were well maintained. There was a recreational zone that had a bowling alley and other games like air hockey and playstation called Arcadia. Arcadia was the hangout spot for people who were obsessed with games be it Pool or Playstation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason behind that I choose this course is that I wanted to become clinical psychologist. The timings for exams differ with the slots that they give to us. The management has to be improved as well to arrange the seating plan. The frequency for exam should also be increased as it requires more of time.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester onwards. Most students don't opt to work but rather go for a master's degree. The average packages offered are of around 9,00,000 per annum and the highest packages go up to around 15,00,000 per annum. About 5% students opt for campus placements. My plans after getting the degree is to get an LLB to pursue a career in Law.
