  • Campus is not very spacious compared to universities.
  • There is only online payments available. Although it is not a thing i particularly dislike, it becomes a hassle at times.

Course Curriculum Overview :

We have Personality enhancement program, Social immersion program, legal aid and other clubs and competitions that help us gain practical knowledge of what we study. Internship breaks of one month after every sem exams is provided.

Internships Opportunities :

I interned at a NGO and a insurace company during the beginning years of my law school through college's placement and internship cell. It gave a glimps of how to deal with costumers. NGO was a very helpful internship as it really teaches how to stay down to earth.

Placement Experience :

From 4th year and above, students can decide on the path they choose to work in and choose the elective courses as such. 5th year, ususally the college allows you to take up long term internships. There is a placement commitment in the college. Since some of them choose to study further, or choose a different career path altogether , the percentage of student's getting placement is not determined.

Fees and Financial Aid :

2 lakhs per annum is the yearly fee. Since the college is affiliated to KSLU,based on the exam fee they prescribe, the fee must be paid before evey end sem examination. There is price reduction for the exam fee for SC/ST.

Campus Life :

There is a lot of networking opportunities that the college allows you through means of volunteering for the national moot court competitions, ADR competition and others. We do have sports day, culturals, clubs and other social events. The college has a very accommodating library with a wide rage from self help books to business and law realted books.

Admission :

I had written CLAT and failed to get a seat in the NLU's and through a friend i learned about IFIM. Based on the feedbacks about the college, i joined. Since it was during the COVID, we had an online exam and interview to get admission in the college.

Faculty :

Faculties are very much available to the students and they ars well versed in their subjects. KSLU exams until this year had a marking scheme of 80-20. But for the present batch, it has changed into 100 mark paper. The exams are neither easy nor difficult. It depends on the quality and content of your answers.

Interview Experience :

There was both written exam and online interview. It was the same as what we prepared for CLAT Students must have basic legal knowledge and good knowledge on the current affairs. They must be very good at reasoning their opinions and critical and logical analysis must be on point.

Night Life :

Since the college is surrounded by companies like WIPRO and Infosys, there is a 24/7 security and surveillance around that area. Its a very safe place. There are hotels and cafes in the surrounding area and many PG's.

Placement Experience:

With various workshops and events provided, the students get a lot of exposure that not only helps them learn but can also secure a job at esteemed law firms. Students can intern under advocates excelling in different fields of law. The students are encouraged to start interning from 2nd year onwards. The faculty suggests the students to expand their limits and intern for companies and law firms of different fields to learn what interests them the best.

From the last semester onwards students are eligible for on campus Placements. Akshaya Patra is one of the Law firms that visited last year and few offers were given to students there's no exact value for the number. 7,00,000 is the highest package offered for legal assistant. 75% students get placed. I've further plans to Pursue my master after degree

Placement Experience:

College placements for School of law was not that good till this year till last year 9 cgpa and some good amount of attendance in the entire course was needed for the placement. But this year i think the on placement might get improved as now the eligibility criteria says that you need 5 cgpa minimum for going for on campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very competitive and the scope of passing is very low There are many loopholes in the board which makes it difficult for the student to clear all subjects The course is easy but wantedly it's made difficult but the teaching is made easier here

Placement Experience:

The first batch of the college passed out last year. So the placement aspects are limited. However the Placement Committee at CAIL is trying their best to make sure that the upcoming batches dont have to face such issues. I think by the time i am in the final year we will have pretty good companies and firms at the placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

What attracted me to join this college is mainly their different law committee and competition relating to that. The notes and the curriculum are apt and will help to tackle down the real world problems by completing this course. The exams are 3 hours long and the question paper are all difficult as it is a really vast subjects.

Admission:

I appeared the CLAT exam, which is an entrance exam for taking admission in the law colleges. Moreover I had secured good marks in my 12th boards for which after my application was received by the college, they selected me for admission.

Placement Experience:

All students have to look outside to get the job. Many of my classmates were struggled to get the job after completion of course. No figures to say when there was no campus placements. I heard that few companies came for placements but all were call centre companies.
