Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is very apt for theory and practical as there is alot of exposure given to the students through the form of events, conferences and industrial visits. The exams are not that difficult and at the same time not that easy it is moderate

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for placements in thr 5th semester if the course is for 3 years and 7th semester if the course is for 4 years and 3rd semester if the course is for 2 years. The eligibility to get campus placements is not having any backlogs. I plan on doing my master after my bachelor's degree

Fees and Financial Aid :

The tuition fee is 80,000 and university fee is 10,000 for me and for few others it is more or less around 85 thousand to 1 lakh. The only charges which college asks after admission till the degree is completed is 3000 rupees as exam fee for each semester which is 500 per subject and may vary depending on the number of subjects in a semester, the college also charges 3000 for convocation which needs to be paid in the final semester of any course and a 500 rupees fee for any backlog or failed subject can be paid in any semester the student wants to write that exam.

Campus Life :

The library is accessible and is having a wide variety of books and also have previous year question papers and online e library. The sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged by the teachers.

Admission :

I applied to PES University for Bsc Hons for Psychology and i got the confirmation of selection way long back before i applied to REVA but i chose REVA over PES as the travel distance was too much to PES and REVA is nearby.

Faculty :

The faculty are approachable and friendly and are always ready to help. There are two internals conducted before the semester end examination and the marks are are graded down for both the internals and the semester end examination

Interview Experience :

There was no GD or a written test during the admission. The eligibility for each course is given on the college website which is very easy to access and understand. Other CET and other competitive exams the college has no entrance exam for my course

Night Life :

There is a foodcourt, library and a open stage where students can hang out after classes. The hostel timing is also not very strict the hostelites have the freedom to report back to their hostel rooms by 8:30.

Other Applied Colleges

PES University - [PESU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Psychology)

The traveling distance from home to college was extremely far

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th semester. Companies like Deloitte, HP, Godrej etc make offers of around 50k-60k. The highest offer was most probably between 50k-60k. For my course very few students apply for placements as most of them want to pursue further studies. But in a class of 40 students around 3-5 students get the placements they want. I wanted to pursue a Masters degree after the course in order to give me a better idea of my area od interest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The factors that influenced me to take this course at this college was the faculty they have the best faculty and hod in the whole Bangalore plus they offer us additional course as well as workshops such as conducted by ICHR where we form connections and prepare for the real world challenges, we have 3 internal exams , one class test, one practical and one mid sem as well as final exams. The area they need to approve is that they can add more practicals to the curriculum which helps us to engage and work efficiently

Course Curriculum Overview:

The whole course was tye subject that i was most interested in and there was no specific aspects that made me xhoose this course it was all my intrest to join . It really prepares us very well for the real world applications as they have practical experience which they make sure we do it and understand. I think having to show more real time examples is something they need to improve The frequency and timing of exams are very accurate and it is moderate level and not that difficult

Course Curriculum Overview:

I loved the interrelation between IR and Journalism, and I feel like for someone who is going to prepare to become diplomats or for the UPSC exams, this course will really help as it covers a lot of aspects across both the disciplines. The 3 years you put in really pushes you as a student, exploring multiple realms of both the disciplines. Only problem I had was that journalism could be a bit more hands-on, maybe we could have been taught a bit more about broadcast journalism and reporting in the media. Other than that all topics covered are interesting and exams are pretty straightforward.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is very good. definitely includes what all has to be learnt as first year students but teachers can certainly make it more interesting and include more practical lessons and make students go out and do field work as assignments. but the course gives enough preparation for real world but can definitely do more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We get to learn many things not because of just the syllabus and courses but also because of the national and international conferences that are held in our college. People from other colleges come in and share their knowledge with us. This experience is really good for us students. We even have expert lectures from our alumnis who give us advice on what all is required in the world outside college to earn. All these are really helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courss curriculum for the bachelor's are more theory oriented than practical oriented It is understandable but not much of practical side to it Every other month there is an exam since there are 3 exam in a sem and a sem is for around 4-5 months

Placement Experience:

From beginning of the semesters students are being trained for the placements through soft skills training, resume building sessions and mock interviews. Majorly form third semester, students are meant to primarily focused upon placements. Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, Infotech, Infosys, and more than 300 gratified companies comes each year in intervals for recruitment. Various packages will be offered to students starting from 10 lakh per annum to 50 lakhs per annum. Nearly 50-60% students get placements there. And i m opting for higher education hence I would not be focused on placements much.
