- In terms of liking then the University Campus was good and also the faculties are. The improvement only need to enhance the syllabus little more so that it would be competitive for current market requirement.
- Many Social Events are organized by the university and student can engage in this.
Dislikes
- nothing more to disliked of the university but need some improvement in syllabus only.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As a Master Degree Program the course syllabus and curriculam was well enough and specially the reputation of University in Western Odisha. For real world application needs improments in the syllabus but for the basics of that well defined and well enough. Areas of improvements like real world application in business and PSU (Like Adobe, Oracle, SAP, Databases, APIs linking), These are some basics which are need to be add. Coming to difficulty of exams, not too much difficult if the person well listening in class and practising at home on daily basis.
Placement Experience :
from th 3rd semester, student can get into placements. Wipro, TCS, FG, Tata Power will got visited for campus placement and also the student got into other companies. it can range upto 7 LPA. 50 to 60% students got the placements. My plans for persuing PHD after completed this.
Fees and Financial Aid :
1) The Yearly Fee structure was around 38K to 40K and The student can opt the State and National Scholarship. As the Course I have pursued was under professional one that's why the scholarship amount also like 20K to 25K, Which will you get for 2 year. 2) Coming to Tution fees, it was not needed as the faculty are well enough to give you enough suggestions and guide. The University classes already meet all these things and no need of any extra or tution. Yaa the student can follow other books and go through higher competency programs for more knowledge. 3) Coming to different fees then its only different in male/female and category wise. Its only difference of hardly 2K to 4K only. 4) Scholarship details as i mentioned on above points, and also you can apply other scholarship as well.
Campus Life :
The annual events and the cultural fest mainly with the food festivals and other sports program was held at the university campus. RAP Battles and different song and dance competions and other also there. There is a central library available which was opened 24hr and also one library available at each of the department which was managed by the concern dept. Classrooms equiped with new technologies and it was great. There are different social media sites available which was managed by students, which will help many students to get the information quick about any exams and any other notices.
Admission :
Other Universities like JNU, Pondicherry, and SUIIT i got the opportunity but i have choose this because of its reputation and mainly it was on my home town. In terms of Process for admission, it will be selected from the cut off mark that you have got in the entrance like OJEE conducted every year for get admissions into universities. Further after got selected what we have choosed before the entrance and according to the cut off the designated university will be allocate and after the allocation you have submit all your required documents. Process not complicated, it was simple. Overall admission experience was good.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio was around if we consider 32 students then faculty was 5 to 7. All faculties are good and well supportive. There are total of 8 exams considering 2 exams per semester (Internal + Semester). Not much more only 2 to 3 students hardly got back into any subjects. The course curriculam was good just need little improvement on addition of new topics.
Night Life :
No gym available but cafeterias and public area available outside the campus area. hostel time normal as usual like 6 AM to 10 PM. Yaa the whole campus was safe for all females and males. There are some places outside the campus where the students can go and hangout.
