- I liked the fact that my education will get completed in negligible amount of money, i didn't had to spend lakhs on my degree.
- As I opted for Distance education i only needed to go for exams and practicals as well as tos submit my assignments and projects, the ones who are working or don't have to time to go to college it Is best suited for them

- If you failed a subject and you opted for rechecking your paper the result comes almost after 2 months
- The faculty doesn't provide placement opportunities to the students
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very good you get to know coding, preparation for interviews as well as finance related subjects are there it builds your communication skills as there is a subject for the same in second semester and you also get to know about e-commerce as there is subject in 6th semester. It provides very well for the real world application but you need to have some practical knowledge too for it you need to have done an internship in the same. The course should be a little updated in terms of programming as new languages are emerging. The exams are conducted 2 times a year June and December the difficulty level is quite higher than other institutions.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't get an internship from the college but I got one from internshala I'm Thomas Cook where I worked for 3 months witha stipend of Rs 3000 a month ie. Rs9000 for 3 months. Where my work was to make excel sheets , analys the data as well perform IT operations.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The yearly fees i paid was Rs14000 for two semesters. The exam form is Rs 200 and exam fees per subject is Rs 200 as well as Practical/lab fees is Rs 200 per subject. The per semester fees is Rs 7000 including textbooks and excluding textbooks it is Rs 6000 so it is upto you if you want to opt the textbooks. For minorities concession is available in the fees structure as well as textbooks are available to them free of cost. My friend is from SC caste so his fees are the same Rs 7000 but after completion of a year the fees are given back to him in his personal account so his education is completed free of cost.
Campus Life :
There are no fests conducted by IGNOU Like other colleges but cultural fests are conducted in November and December for the students and faculty members. You are accessible for every book in the library of the regional centre. The facilities are quite good in the study centre but it depends upon each study centre. No extra curricular activities are conducted by IGNOU as of now and I think it a major drawback of IGNOU. There are telegram groups whatapp groups of the students and faculty members where you get to know about each important thing like exam schedule, assignment submission date as well you get the assignments too, previous year question papers, answer keys etc.
Admission :
I had applied to Lala college and I got admitted to it but for different stream BMS, i had also applied in Kirti M Dongursee College for BCS IT where I got admitted too but the course curriculum was old so I didn't pursued it further. I got rejected from Christ University as so many students apply there it is one of the best college for computer science and their placement is very good. The admission process in IGNOU is very simple you need to have minimum 50 % in 12th with Maths as your compulsory subject.
Faculty :
The faculty ratio is very poor like almost for 500 students 10 faculty members. The faculty provides guidance to you about how to do your assignments and projects but they delay a lot. The exam form faculty is very good and co operative as well the project guide is very skillful and provided proper assistance. The teaching faculty is good but they don't solve doubts much they just teach their part and leave. IGNOU exams are much tougher than other institutions and their passing marks is 40 for 100 and 20 for 50.
Night Life :
There is a gym in our study centre at Powai in Chandrabhan Sharma College which okay okay, cafeteria is good, library is very good. You can get a PG if you want around your study centre and the campus timing is from 7 am to 5:30 pm. The famous places to roam is the Powai garden, Hiranandani
