Dislikes

  • Facilities in lab were lacking. We had only limited resources for our practicals.
  • Teaching staffs were lacking for each subject.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I feel the curriculum must modified for simpler examination process. Because there are things like we can write exam only if we pass 1 years for 3rd year exam and till 7th semester if we want to write 8th semester. This must simplified

Fees and Financial Aid :

I have paid 1 lakhs 20 thousand yearly. Yearly for all children expect for merit students is 1 lakhs 20 thousand - 30 thousand. For merit students it is 1 lakhs. Caution fee was 10,000 INR which was included in the tution fees. SC and ST need not pay any fees.

Campus Life :

There was a lack of cultural activities also in our college. After corona it was less cultural activities. There was no social or club groups. We just formed our alumini group recently. I feel that is good

Admission :

In my college there was no admission fee whereas other college had. I regret this decision as now because those colleges are having placement and internship opportunities as my college don't have. Also i feel i should have studied out of kerala University because their course didn't have lag due to corona but ours had.

Faculty :

Faculties were friendly and was good in nature. 1st semester and 2nd semester was easy. But as semester goes the toughness level also increased. We also need to pass till 7th semester to attend 8th semester examination.

Night Life :

Nightlife in campus can be done only when there is program conducted by other colleges in the campus. Restaurants were good and affordable in our campus. Our campus is safe in night. Outside campus there are nice cafes as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmacy is a well paid profession. It has lots of opportunities in india as well as outside india. As this course is semester base ,there is no such burden. Our curriculum mainly focus on the pharmacy related topics, its formulation, manufacturing methods, manufacture, evaluation etc. Our current syllabus mainly focus on pharmaceutical industrial based.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance of Pharmacy in medical field is unpredictable. Because to treat a disease condition medicine support is necessary. A registered pharmacist is one who compound and dispense medicine to patient. The also participate in formulation process in pharmaceutical industries. The syllabus cover almost all area of pharmacy. One of my suggestion is to include hospital training hours.

Placement Experience:

Only final-year students were eligible for placements and only two companies were there in which only a few were selected. The package was 5 LPA. There were many opportunities for us and I was trying to join as a clinical pharmacist.

Placement Experience:

When we are in the final year placement will occur from different companies and they conduct presentations about their company and at last conduct the selection interview. Some of the students are working with that company. Companies are from Dubai like life pharma. I am working in a clinic for the last few months.

Admission:

Admission this college is based on the entrance exam. One should clear the cutoff to get admitted in to this college. I scored 6997 in the KEAM entrance exam for B. pharmacy course and got admitted into this college.

Placement Experience:

College has a continuously working, active placement cell, since I do not have any knowledge about the kind of internships they provide so I can not describe my overall experience whereas the placement cell can be contacted easily with the number provided on the official website of the college.
