My life at NITHM.

  • College is very strict for its timely fees payments. But with a written letter and approval you can get a grace period to pay it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course gives us the real time experience of how the world outside is and also a huge amount of exclusive actual relavent subjective knowledge to survive. Curriculum is very diverse and intriguing. And they even encourage internships and actual job offers to be considered and joined while still in college and take the exams along it, if they see fit for it. Exams are never a stress here, its is very stress free but yet gravely effective for your development.

Internships Opportunities :

There are many various types of intership offers we get through our college, for example- Hotels Restaurants Travel industry Service industry Marketing Business analyst & developers And many more There's no specific company that offers every year but there's no shortage. I personally had internships at evento entertainments, worked at Sodexo, World travel consortium, KFC, etc.

Placement Experience :

College offers vast varieties of placement offers. Though it might not have campus interviews, our placements officer puts in a lot off efforts and time to ensure each and every student is employed as soon as they pass their course. They even hold 2 different internship periods for 2 whole semesters, where a student can briefly get experience toadd to the cv.

Fees and Financial Aid :

When I was studying it was Rs. 91000/- for the first year and then for the rest 3 years it was Rs.86000/- I didn't avail any scholarships or quota's. But right now, the fees structure has changed for the freshly joined students. It is around 1.2 lakh per year.

Campus Life :

Our campus had a vast 25 acre property. It was surrounded by nature every where. We had plantation sessions, trips, educational, fests, fresher & farewell. Sports and cultural days, ethnic days, festive seasons we had celebrations in the campus lake side area. We had a huge lake in the campus too. A ground and almost a mile long walking or jogging track around the lake. We have a library with a vast variety of books, considering curriculum and syllabus and also novels and all general knowledge.

Admission :

I've actually applied for only 2 colleges before, and even for accepted with a free seat in one of them. But I wanted to pursue my passion for travel and hospitality. So I joined here, as I already had seen the college beforehand and knew about it through a friend who became my senior in the college.

Faculty :

Faculty is very supportive and helpful, they might get very strict and hard when it comes to academics and attendance, but overall they help change your life perspective and stand by you to help in all your problems, irrespective of the problem's nature. There's no particular faculty I didn't like but college is full of ups and downs and through my 4 year long thing in the college I've come to understand and appreciate everyone. Exam system by itself is not very strestful for the students but still yet effective.

Night Life :

We have a cafeteria and mess. Students aren't allowed to roam around about outside campus after 9:30-10:00 in the night. For the students safety, but inside campus you can have a stroll with permission off your warden. There's very strict security placed at all the entrance and exit points 24/7 for the safety of students. The campus is situated in Gachibowli so you have a lot of crazy places to visit and spend time outside college, like cafe's, pubs, clubs, malls, etc. but also inside the campus because of the campus vast area layout and nature you can find a a peaceful and good spot almost every where .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate my cousre curriculum a 7, because the subject might not be that useful to study in the college and some subject include 20 chapter in a sem which could be difficult to study by a intermideate passout at once. i would recommend to enhance your reading habbits and skills for this college.
