- The architecture and the atmosphere the campus is so beautiful with greenary.
- Canteens and food shops throughout campus.
Dislikes
- The self study structure . Maybe it's because it's a transition from school to college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Because after studying here we will have great subject knowledge. Moreover after studying four years here we won't have to do a pg we can directly apply for PhD and jrf and all. The curriculum framework is similar to pg students. Exams are a bit difficult but it will equip you for future.
Internships Opportunities :
So far we haven't been informed about internships. It will be available at last semester only. Till then they are preparing us for battle. One thing for sure most students graduated from here is now in high positions.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Currently out fee is high like 13425 was padi for ba courses and around 15000 was paid for bsc courses at the beginning of first semester. But soon there will be reduction in fees due to student protests. NSP scholarship , State merit scholarship and central merit scholarships are all available for students. Also apply for grants. The university offers best education in Kerala and the certificate values is great.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of the university is 100/100 there is not a single bad thing about it. All facilities are available with lots of greenary. Stones benchs to sit are everywhere. There are several events throughout the year academic and non academic. Whatever reference book it will be available either at campus library or department library or at the library of center for undergraduate studies. Each classroom has a computer and several fans. There are sfi and ksu but they work only for the betterment of our life in the campus
Admission :
I applied to Mar Ivanios College, MG college , SH college etc I got accepted but I choose studying in a university over studying in a campus. And the course structure looked very good. Admission was based on plus two marks. The scores should be great around 90% is better..
Faculty :
The faculty in some department are not much approachable since they are very busy with pg students PhD students and their university responsibilities. I really liked Manju ma'am but she is now our dean. There is mid sem exams for internal marks and sem exams after the end of each semester. There are 8 semesters. Some departments like physics have great faculty.
Night Life :
There is gim and the campus library is open till 12. The students staying at hostel never leaves campus at night. It's really fun. The campus is 450 acres so you can imagine. There is three cafes and one canteen. Students love hanging out at chola. The backgate area is not safe at late night
