Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is versatile with all the necessary concepts throughout the three years.Exams will be conducted every month in the form of internals and final semester exam with moderately difficult syllabus.

Class Size : 46Course Fees : INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

I did my BSC in chemistry and microbiology.The course is very affordable with a annual fee of approximately 30,000 and during each even semester scholarships of value ranging from 3500 to 5000 will be given for the academic excellence.The course was government aided compared to the other corses such as B.COM or BCA which demand high fee.

Campus Life :

The campus is good and had a good environment.I stayed in the campus hostel which is also good in stay and provides good food for affordable prices.The college emphasises on sports both outdoor and indoor,i myself was a part of the college chess team and have got a good suppert from the management.

Admission :

The college is highly reputed compared to the rest of the colleges in Mangalore moreover it has become deemed to be university lately which also catches the eyes of the students.The college campus is very big with all the nessecities.

Faculty :

All the faculties were well qualified in their field of study.Teaching is good with good student teacher relationship.They are always ready for the doughts and help us in all the curricular activities if needed.

Night Life :

My favourite place around the campus would definitely be the mother Theresa peace park with all the trees around you provide you a comfortable time.college has a gym,canteen,library facilities.The hostel is also good and affordable.

The are placement sections where the company have the talk and select the students but they will be. Some people are good at communication skills but not in theory and practical which can also cause effect the students.

Reality of manipal campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i wanted a medical field and this was best because we have less work compared to other departments. Job opportunity is there but first salary will be less wch is depressing all students. We dont have value here as anesthesia technician. Course curriculum has actually changed from this year which i felt better than what our curriculum was. Timing of exams are proper and exams are easy too if u study.

Place which feels home

Placement Experience:

We do have campus placements in our college. From 5th sem everybody is eligible to appear for campus placements. As far as I know there were Walmart,Paycheck,aceture,sony and many more. Almost about 30 to 50 students from each department get selected in placements. Not really sure about the percentage but somewhere in 60/100. My plans after the degree is to clear SSB or do my MCA .

Perhaps its my perspective

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible in the 6th sem only before that we are asked to fill google forms etc. Highest package was 16 lakhs in other dept. In science dept every less companies visit and the starting is 3.5 lakhs Lpa which i am happy about. We are forced to give our first month salary to an orphanage run by college which is a bit fishy . I'd like to do a job after degree.

Life at Christ

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum for BSc is simply the extended version of 11th and 12th standard portions in the first year. It includes the same concepts and the teaching method is rather ordinary and boring and doesn't seem to focus on making the students live the subject but is rather focussed on marks and other upcoming exams. A teacher kept insisting us to do certain problems skipping the others considering the factory that it is very important for a exam after UG. She also stated that everyone are most likely to take up teaching as a job after this which shows how narrow minded and shallow the opinions and minds of the teachers are. This amounts for a greater level of discouragement.
