Course Curriculum Overview :
The aspects of the curriculum that influenced my descision to choose this course is that it teaches us both Mathematics and Computer Science. And both of them are crucial subjects for an Engineer. This curriculum prepares us for real world applications very well because we learn coding which is a big deal in today's world.on the other hand we learn maths which helps our brain work faster and efficiently.I don't think there are areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods. So the Exams are around 2.5 to 3 months apart from each other. As the semester is 6 months long. The exams are quite difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
My college provides a variety of internship opportunities through a dedicated placement and career services cell, which collaborates with renowned companies across industries. Some notable organizations that offer internships to students include: - **Tata Consultancy Services (TCS):** Roles in software development, data analysis, and project management, with stipends ranging from ?15,000 to ?25,000 per month. Projects often involve working on real-time software solutions or optimizing data workflows. - **Deloitte:** Roles such as business analyst and financial consultant, focusing on tasks like market research, client presentations, and problem-solving in live projects. Stipends usually range from ?20,000 to ?30,000. - **Infosys:** Technical internships in areas like coding, testing, and cloud computing, offering hands-on experience in creating functional modules for their ongoing projects. Stipends average around ?18,000 per month. - **KPMG:** Internships in auditing, financial analysis, and risk management, where students assist in preparing reports and analyzing data for clients. Stipends vary between ?20,000 and ?35,000. Additionally, students often work on projects like developing mobile applications, conducting financial audits, or designing marketing campaigns. These internships not only provide practical experience but also help students enhance problem-solving, teamwork, and technical skills, significantly boosting employability and confidence.
Placement Experience :
The placements at my college are highly commendable, with a dedicated placement cell that ensures students are well-prepared for interviews and industry requirements. Many reputed companies visit the campus annually, offering roles across various sectors. The average placement package is competitive, and students often secure internships that lead to pre-placement offers. For those not interested in campus placements, the college provides support for higher studies, entrepreneurship, and professional certifications, enhancing employability. If campus placements weren't available, I would focus on leveraging industry connections, internships, and skills acquired during my course to secure opportunities aligned with my career aspirations.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Year Wise fees is for,1st Year-219000,2nd Year-229000,3rd Year-239000,4th Year-249000.This fees is for a normal person. If a person's family income is less than of equal to 450000 ,then they might get 25% fees refunded,if income is less than or equal to 250000,then they might get 50% fees refunded, and if a person has bpl card or ration card, they might get full fees refunded.there are scholarship for sc,st,OBC students only if their family income is less than 800000.Most of my batchmates have same fees structure only some have different who have ration card or family income is less than 8lakhs.There are around 10-15 scholarships by Delhi and central government for students mostly depending on their family income or merit.
Campus Life :
My overall experience with campus life has been vibrant and enriching. Socially, the campus fosters a strong sense of community through various cultural events, fests, and interactive sessions that help students connect with peers from diverse backgrounds. I actively participate in clubs related to my interests, which has allowed me to develop leadership skills and network with like-minded individuals. The infrastructure is modern and student-friendly, with well-equipped libraries, labs, and recreational spaces that enhance both academic and extracurricular experiences. These aspects collectively create a balanced and fulfilling college environment.
Admission :
I chose this college because it offers a strong academic program in my field of interest, along with excellent faculty and resources tailored to my career goals. Compared to other colleges I applied to, this institution stood out for its practical learning approach, internship opportunities, and well-connected alumni network. While some other colleges had similar reputations, their campuses, location, or program structures didn’t match my preferences as closely. The admission process here was also well-organized and transparent, making me feel valued as a prospective student.
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio is 70:30.Since this college has become a university, the no of students have increased.Teachera are very supportive and helpful. They guide you through the best way possible. We normally have Mid sem exams, end sem exams and CTs, Practical Exams.Nothing more. The exams are difficult. But if you study nothing is difficult.Around 5-6 students fail to clear an exam in each semester. The Course I'd fully relevant to the curriculum.
Night Life :
The nightlife in and around my college campus is vibrant yet balanced, offering a variety of options for students to unwind after classes. On campus, popular late-night activities include gathering at the 24-hour cafeteria, group study sessions in the library (which closes at midnight), and working out at the gym, which stays open until 10 PM. Public areas like the common rooms and outdoor seating spots are well-lit and safe for students to relax and socialize. For students living in hostels, entry timings are usually 10:30 PM for safety reasons, but the hostel environment itself fosters camaraderie through group activities and discussions. Off-campus, there are several hangout spots, including cafés, casual dining restaurants, and a nearby shopping complex. One of my favorite places is a local coffee shop that stays open late, offering a cozy ambiance for conversations or quiet study. Additionally, students often enjoy exploring nearby parks or visiting food stalls.
