- The structure of the college and the location is so peaceful.
- Area surrounded by the college has so much greenery also the outside of each department block has so much greenery.
Dislikes
- They doesn't have proper drinking water machines, i have been in this college for 3 years and there are only few departments that has proper drinking water connections. I used to travel to another department to drink water.
- In the conditions of heavy rain the rain water pour inside of the department hall area, not in the classroom or labs.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am so interesting in semiconductor field that's why i chose this cource and the course fulfill my needs at some points but some minor points gets missed. Cource is mostly relevant and satisfying but the industry level knowledge is hard to get we only lear basics. Tools which are the level of industries are not present due to high costs of servers and softwares. We only lear basic level of idea of the cource. Frequency of exam hi quite difficult and high. Our syllabus gets only 4 months to study and exam is conducted on the 5th month (approximately).
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are provided by the university are so good though they don't provide stipend at some point but the scholarships provided by the government is good and many karge companies take place in that. Average stipend is 10k? per month. Sometimes our college faculties direct request to the companies to take part to give Internship for the college students. Rolls assigned is of project member. As we get Internships from a well known company then it directly effect your skills and improves you a lot. Task they give is related to our basics as well as some researching topics also.
Placement Experience :
In our branch there are lots of companies recruit us. Most of them got placed. Many technical and non technical companies comes to our college and gets good amount of students for them. Average package is of 300000? and some companies also does mass recruitment of the students. I got applied for two decent companies and i also got chances to get interviewed. Unfortunately i didn't make it to the companies. My further plans are to go for more chances and apply for as much as companies that comes.
Fees and Financial Aid :
So my experience about the fee structure in the bachelor's degree of electronics and communication engineering for this college is actually very good. Since it's a government college i didn't have to pay for any type of registration or admission fees. The semester tution fees for boys is 1600?. Sure the Penalty fees are there. There are some documentation charges when we join the college and it was something around 500?. They provide library books for free upto some certain deadline, Penalty applicable for delays. University PRC fees are 300? for each year for the degree of Bachelors. It's an affordable college and they provide services and events from the government for free also without any charges. Since I'm an SC student i was applicable for the DIGITAL GUJARAT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME and the government paid 3460? for the first year scholarship application that has been approved.
Campus Life :
Infrastructure is so good of this college. It gives good vibes in the campus. Since it's government college the government level festivals like independence day republic day gets celebrated every year. Campus environment is also ao good. Librarie has wide amount of books amd journals. Extracurricular activities are also provided by the college campus. They has NSS group that do social working and helping works. Students of this college also can arrange festival celebration ny taking permission from the principal. Hackathons also take place for the technical skill improvement of each. Classroom has projectors and pcs.
Admission :
Admission process is quite simple and all the works can get done online. Joining process discussed via mails and calls. Choosing this college towards other because this college is well known and a very good government college anyone who doesn't want to go outside of the city can pursue this college and can get a good level of degree. Eligible was about 45% of the exam of GUJCET and minimum 75%ile in the 12th board exams. Information technology is the best course in this college but all other branches are well and good. If you want a decent college with good structure which has lots of placement opportunities and has a well reputation and also don't want to cost any extra amount of money and get an affordable fees rate them this is the best college that you can have! As long as about other college my marking criteria wasn't good enough for them and i didn't wanted to go outside of the city Ahmedabad so u decided to go to this colleges! This college has almost all types of placement companies which comes to any other colleges of gujarat.
Faculty :
Course system is easy and clear. There are 2 types of exams at college level. First is class tests which vary faculty to faculty in terms of marks and complexity. Second is mid term exam which is easy and of 30 marks which can be clear from reference books. Some faculties are soo good that they support you in every parts but not all. I had an experience of getting failed in my internal examination and it wasn't my fault at all that faculty was too partial and doing casteism towards me because i was an SC student. Another bad experience happened when i was in my sixth semester and the faculty was so full of ego even when i wasn't even guilty. I had so hard time facing those 2 faculties but despite of them all other faculties were good and well mannered. I can't deny that problems may occur but not everytime so because of this i have good response for the faculty reviews in previous step. In the mid term exams mostly 5 to 10 students fail but they get pass in remidial because of easy exam system.
Night Life :
There is a gym for the students and it's good. Cafeteria has not much varieties and food is average. Hostel timings are from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. for both girls and boys, favourite hangout spot is basketball group and E block. Outside of the college there is huge mall and lots of street food vendors also. Many food variety is there, there arr also movie theatres. Area outside of the college is so safe and good for roaming at night.
