Dislikes
- badminton court is not there.there is a net but not a court
- lack of a big auditorium.though there is a well equipped small one but not a great big one.it is been in construction since forever
Course Curriculum Overview :
curriculum is great considering its comprehensiveness and relevance with daily changing future requirements. besides the subjects that student has taken admission in,they get additional courses such as languages (both indian and international changing according to semesters),they get a "skill enhancement course" which include a great deal of subjects from finance,personality development and sports.same goes for "value enhancement course" and "EVS" which includes study of environment.
Fees and Financial Aid :
my year wise fees is Rs 15,515.It is highly affordable considering the benefits and facilities provided in college. yearly fees structure is not probided to us. fees structure of students from categories like EWS,SC,ST is not very much different just 2 to 3 thousand difference in total fees. however fees for PWD candidates is highly affordable with just 160rs
Campus Life :
departmental festivals are ample.my departmental freshers was amazing moreover it was free. sessions of renowned speakers, public figures are organized by various departments verg very often. library infrastructure is amazing. there are 4 reading halls all equipped with ACs and also have a computer room to avail computer services for various projects. almost all the socities are runned by students.Each has a council to run and organize it. socities organize various fests and events.like NSS's annual diwali fest,fresher talent show of music society etc all being perfectly amazing.
Hostel Facilities :
i live in hostel here which is given aacording to student's merit. Hostel life is amazing. the facilities it provide are amazing - common room with LED,projector,table tennis etc, reading room,badminton, cricket,volleyball etc game facilities. Hostel mess of this college is very much famous across DU north campus. the menu, food all are amazing. conditions of the room is above par are with the fees we are paying it is more than great. we have common washrooms here which are too great. washing machines are 5-6 in number. All staff is very helpful and soft spoken. cleanliness,laundry, wifi,all are available. Hostel has a seperate canteen which provides affordable good food and basic amenities.
Admission :
i thought of applying to other colleges but couldn't do it because of my score constraint. my college is under DU which made its admission process great easier.they considered my CUET score for admission and asked me to fill colleges according to my prefernce. cuttoff played its part and my prefernces got shortlisted.i chose this college due to its great name in BA and subject combination in which i was interested in.
Faculty :
faculty's quantity and quality is great. attendance,internals etc all are kept in a online mode and is viewable to student through his account. academic qualification of faculty is best.there are midsem and endsem examinations according to DU curriculum. a great thing about curriculum is its relevance considering the daily changing job and future requirements. student is given a varied extra subjects including VALUE ADDITION and SKILL ENHANCEMENT courses.
Night Life :
nightlife,as expected,is amazing.there is a whole amazing markets around the campus- Kamla nagar, malka ganj. it is full of cafes, clothing, amazing delhi street food etc.over the time there are amazing hangout spots developed which are 'sudama tea stall', 'tom uncle's maggi' etc. even not the hangout spots but the street views with a great copmanionship of friends ,a great walk on it is a bliss. college timings for outsiders is around 6. however it varies for some students in case of a event.library remains open till 8pm.hostel timings are till 11pm
