Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is largely aligned with industry requirements , including python , java , cloud computing , data science etc Pratical lab sessions for programming and databse managemnt foster real world readiness . Areas of improvments: Focus more on project based learning Include emerging technolgies the course does a good job but goog integrate newer technologies.
Placement Experience :
MCA students typically become eligible for campus placements starting in their final year Tainings provided : Pre-placement talks Aptitude training companies include : TCS(oriented campus) Federal Bank Kalkitech Speridian etc Percentage of students placed approx 60 - 70% . However this year the placement percentage has dropped due to global economic slowdown by major IT companies. Highest package : 6-8 LPA Average : 3 -4 LPA Plans : Expanding my knowledge in deloping Networking on Platforms to identify opportunities
Fees and Financial Aid :
The detailed fee structure for MCA For 1st year , 1st installment , Totla fee : 50,000 this include admission fee , alumni membership , tution fee , arts and sports , PTA , Caution deposit it is refundable at the end of the course (10,000) The above given is semseter wise fee . Scholarships : Merit-cum-Need scholarships SC/ST and minority scholarships OBC scholarships Particulary those under government schemes often benefit from reduced fees. Facilities in rooms : Triple sharing Each student is provided with a bed , study table , chair , cupboard, bucket and mug. Shared bathrooms which are cleaned regularly Meal system Hygienic Veg and Non veg are available Student must apply during the admission process to secure a hostel spot. A security deposit is required , refundable PGs are available in Angamaly or chalakudy , close to FISAT

Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio: it is well maintained . each batch consists of 120 students in two divisions 60 each faculty members are generally supportive especially for academic doubts . students can easily interact outside of class hours even if it late night they are ready to clear the doubts. However curriculum is somewhat outdated some topcs could be replaced with more modern technologies. Exam : each semester has internal assessments . exams are moderately difficult Faculty members heping students succeed academically and professionally
Night Life :
Hostel timing : Girls : Entry closes at 6 pm Boys : Entry closes at 8 pm Library open till 8 pm gym and cafeteria till 7:30pm open grounds are available Safety in locality : Safe for students with secure boundaries. Generally avoid late night outings due to early hostel timing
