  • The gym and sports facilities may not be very good

Course Curriculum Overview :

the course i have opted is very common, but inspite this the faculty in the first year is very good. However as you progress you notice that all the professors have a doctorate yet they are not very fluent in delivering knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid :

I got 50% fee waiver, and got the total tuition fees as 69500 exclusive of examination fees and insurance etc. I stay in the single seater ac room which costs me 210000. I am staying in the international student accommodation as I am from Nepal.

Campus Life :

the hostels have a very active housekeeping staff that consists of thousands of aunties who are coming to get your room cleaned on a daily basis. You will always find people cleaning the premises of the campus and the hostel. There are shit tons of clubs that are very active, The most active and most grand organiser is DACA, department of arts and cultural affairs. Communities from the entire world celebrate atleast 1 grand cultural event every semester.

Hostel Facilities :

The food in the international department is very hygiencic and we have the western cuisine section as well. and we have extra nonveg items along with other. you will find no complains regarding food or mess or the rooms having the hostel is itself a big perk as a student,

Admission :

The admission process was very esy through their websites. One advantage of this college is the diverse culture yet the feeling of being at home. Most punjabi people are very sweet and always wanting to help. You will also find tons of people speaking hindi and offering help. You can easily communicate anywhere in the campus with english as well. so its language barrier free assuming you know atleast hindi or english.

Faculty :

The faculty is very good and they are more than willing to help you at any given time. Any issue that you raise is higly seen by the higher authorities, so basically you can walk upto the director and raise your queries.

Night Life :

The gyms are very crowded and very un arranged, the instructers wont give a fuck if someone is bullied, but you can always raise complaints if you get bullied. Chances are he or she will along with their parents will regret alot if Department of Student welfare gets to know. there are shit tons of good places to have food that are open till 1. the southern campus is very fancy and good to hangout places.

Placement Experience:

The placement procedure was very good according to me as they gave extra classes for the placements like soft skill classes and aptitude classes every week which helped me very much to express myself and prepare well for placement and talking about companies from 2nd year onwards companies started comming and everyone can seat in the exams but if you have back papers then they don't allow to seat in placement exams. I got placement in my 4th year in CTS.

Students are eligible for placements in 6th semester but the final placements is in 7th and 8th semesters. CU has strong placements record, especially for computer Science Engineering(CSE) students. The HIGHEST package is 54.50 LPA (domestic) 2 crore (international) average package is 5-7 LPA for CSE gradutes.in my University boasts a placement rate of over 95% for CSE students, making it one of its strongest displines. The companies visited or offers for students are Microsoft,Google, IBM, Amazon etc. If your placemnts not taking in any companies you can go for higher studies llikes master's degree.
