- The overall academic experience offered, competitions, opportunities and what not
Dislikes
- The class room infrastructure is poor like below average
- The lift and other utilities are also poor
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well BBA is a domain to target mostly for students who tend to be entrepreneurs or interested in starting their own startups. It is also recommended to graduate as a BBA student if you want to expand your inherited family business. The curriculum is up to date and thus doesn't require any major changes. Though there is a scope of adding more practical and experience oriented subjects . Exams are also of decent level of difficulty. A student could easily score 60% and above if he/she listens in lectures
Placement Experience :
Students become eleigible for internship placements after 4 semester. Placement rate for MSI remains to be 90%+ Highest package offered in 2023 was 12 lakhs And lowest was 1.8 lakhs and average was 4-4.5 lakhs Famous companies like s&p global, Zomato, swiggy, Accenture, Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, TCS, Airtel etc

Campus Life :
There are both Main campus fest and institutions -specific fests. Surajmal institute also has one. There are various societies and clubs such as NSS, E-CELL, PLACEMENT CELL, NCC(FOR GIRLS ONLY), FINANCE CLUB, GREEN CLUBS etc Ther infrastructure as described earlier is pathetic or I should say typical st Stephen's type. No provision for A/Cs in summers, poor Lift, old constructed washrooms, dusty old library with rude staff.
Admission :
The main reason of me choosing this college was poor admission process of So called Delhi University. So I decided to opt IPU institutions instead. And Maharaja Surajmal Institute remains on the top for students desiring to do BBA. Eligible entrance exam for IPU is CET And last rank to get admission in MSI is 4000(excluding Management Quota)
Faculty :
The overall MSI faculty are outstanding. Most of the teachers are female, so they are kind and friendly. No pressure is given to students regarding assignments and projects. I would specially like to mention Dr Anshu Lochab(evening shift HOD) Dr Rajeev Dahiya (morning shift HOD) are really sweet, kind and supportive. You have any queries regarding anyone or anything in college reach out to them guyz. Regarding examination purposes two exams are conducted per semester(6-momth period). First is Mid-term examination and second is the Final-term examination at the end of every semester. There are internal and external VIWAs and lab practicals conducted.
Night Life :
The hangout spots are so many considering this college is located in the heart of Delhi Near the District Center. You colud easily hangout in cafes, restros and even clubs. The cafeteria of the institute is a decent 3/5. I don't stay in hostels so I don't have any prior experiences to that.
