- The Faculty of our college is very good most of them are phd holders…but as in every college there are some teachers which are not that good
- The labs of SRM are very good…in VKC(vendhar knowledge centre) there is every latest equipment needed for development of skills.
Dislikes
- Size of college is small but the grounds are large
- The academic block could have been better, the basement classes is like an hospital
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of the course in srmist ghaziabad is somewhat relevant to the industry standards but i'm not fully sure as its my first semester in srmist, so i'll get to know about the curriculum as the time passes.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are provided in the college at great level as the we eligible for internships from 3rd year and almost every major company provides internships...there are both paid and unpaid internships available in the college.
Placement Experience :
The placements of our college is decent like average package is around 7-8 lpa and median is around 6 lpa. I don't have much idea about this year's placements but as i heard jn the college this year's placements was also decent, almost 25-30 students got 10+ lpa package. Mostly every good MNCs visited the college like JP morgan, tcs ,cognizance, amazon,microsoft,etc After getting my degree currently i'm planning to take on campus placements and get a good job.
Fees and Financial Aid :
My Total B.Tech fee for CSE core is 321000. This 3,21000 is only first year's fee which includes 10,000 rs one-time registration fee and 10,000 extra curricular activities fee and 1000 rs security deposit which is refundable and the remaining fee is tuition fee 3,00,000.The examination fee of this year is increased by 4050 rs. The fee of specialization is 2,21000 Scholarships are also available in SRM which is given on JEE basis or BOARDS basis or based on SRMJEE result
Campus Life :
The campus life of our college is good as there are decent events in our college, there is around 1-3 monthly events. There is an annual event which is the largest event of srm which is called RUBARU which is around 3 day event. There are many clubs which you can join as per your interest in extracurricular activities some of the clubs are robotics club,photography club, dance club, music club,etc. The college also participates in different sports competitions, recently our college went to BITS pilani for various sports competitions.
Admission :
I had my confirmed admission in NIET,IPEC in my desired branch but in JSSATE I was unable to get my desired branch and same goes for GCET. I also applied in AKGEC but got rejected due to less marks. Then i first took admission in IPEC in cse core branch but then after some weeks i felt that ipec was not that good, that would not have much exposure there for my skill development and degree of SRM was more valuable than ipec although SRM is bit expensive as compared To other colleges, another reason of getting admission in srm is that it is close to the place where I live and i'm getting btech degree of chennai campus
Faculty :
Faculty in SRM is very decent, most of the teachers are phd holders, but some teachers are normal professors. Faculty to student ratio is good, 1:160 There are total three internals in every semester. And in every semester internals contribute 60% and externals contribute 40% of the total result.
Night Life :
I don't knwo much about the night life of the college as i'm dayscholar and i dont stay in hostels but if we talk about hangout spots my favourite spot is lover's point (called by the students actually it is the benches near the basketball court) because there are trees above the benches and there is always a sense of calmness there.
