Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is very volatile and undergoes changes very often. Some changes might be useful while the others are very useless. Most of the board members donot understand the plight of the students as they are from a different generation.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship facility is available in the college itself with a huge payment every month and huge opportunities. The internship helps in developing very good clinical skills and becoming better doctors

Fees and Financial Aid :

The annual fee structure for my course is approximately 23000 rupees only excluding hostel charges and mess charges. The mess fee and hostel fee are to be paid every month by those who avail these services

Campus Life :

The infrastructure is top notch as it is the only medical college in kerala with an indoor basketball, badminton and volleyball court. Every classroom has projector facilities and the library is very vast. The campus life is quite fun as the hostels are liberal with timings and the collwge is near thrissur town

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are pretty old and has its own limitations. But the vibe in the hostel is immaculate. The food is very good compared to food from other hostels. It is very affordable with only 90 rupees per day

Admission :

This college is known for its academic accolades and is known for the cocurricular activities like sports and arts. The college is also known for the heavy patient load which makes it easier to develop better clinical skills

Faculty :

The faculties quite strict and arrogant. Exams are very frequent and very hard to pass. Most people fail due to the hardness of the exams but still it is very useful if youre focusing on the university exams.

Night Life :

Eventhough the college premises die around 9pm , thrissur city is quite active at night. The city never sleeps. The people are very friendly and is very safe for women at any hour of the night. The city is just a 15 minute ride away from the college with public transportation available at any time

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is about being a doctor so all its aspects focuses on becoming a good doctor . All the things about the curriculum focuses on it. Real world experiences are the best teachers when coming to this career. But our curriculum includes many teaching methods apart from the experiences and makes students know about the scenarios and what to do and to not to in dillematic situations . Emergency procedures are thought which can be done by any common man and other procedures as well. Teaching methods are good only but can be improved by including more clinical exposure and involving the students to know the importance of each subject even the non clinical ones . Exams are put on frequently smaller and bigger ones . Internal exams are conducted frequently. Exams conducted by college varies on difficulty and any student can be a topper depending on how he/she studies Accordingly on perfect timing .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to be a doctor, so i chose this course. We are following CBME curriculum ie, competency based medical education. My suggestion is to give more emphasis to practcal sessions than theory sessions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Obviously, i am studying in a private institute so actually, there is no need of any suggestions to give them becoz they conducting weekly short papers, and monthly block test. But the university does not give enough time for our year students. I chose this field becoz as a reason for me if anyone gets any relief it would be a great reward for me.
