Learning Culture is great , great professors , and the application part is really good considering all departments.

Dislikes

Attendance issues - 70% mandatory attendance , otherwise you'll get detained in that particular subject.
Early Lectures - 8 am lectures in Delhi's winter , could overwhelm you , but you'll look back on them as fond memories.

Course Curriculum Overview :

They follow the official standards on the course curriculum so you'll be at par with whatever's relevant is going on in your field. Also you can opt for inter department electives which will help you to learn something from a different department.

Internships Opportunities :

Lots of internship opportunites Last i remember , google, zomato , uber , directi , amazon , flipkart gave some really good internship opportunities . Pay with these companies , always will be on the higher side , as well as the competition to ge there.

Placement Experience :

Placement opportunities are great. It can be a bit here and there considering what's going on in the hiring trends across the country. But you'll get access to great opportunites , top companies with DTU.

Fees and Financial Aid :

first year - 1,38,000 INR second year - 1,48,000 INR third year - 1,75,000 INR fourth year - 2,25,000 INR There's a certain amount of financial aid provided for the EWS quota. It was provided on the basis of official documentation. And the fee waiver was different for different levels of income.

Campus Life :

There are lot of fests through out the year , Engifest being the most prime fest for DTU . Other fests - Aahvaan , Literary fest , fests by E-cell of DTU. Library is filled with every possible book you can think of , be it your course related , or just pure literature in general. Classrooms are well equipped with modern arrangements. Plenty of opportunities with sports , great coaching staff. Only if you can manage the studies with them. Lots of leadership opportunities.

Admission :

Distance to my house - this was the nearest to where i lived. Placement opportunities - 10/10 Alumni Network - 10/10 Administration - - 6/10 - could be a bit better College Life - - 10/10 Admission process is fairly simple. All the students who appeared for JEE will be eleigible for an admission. Rest of the procedure is followed by JAC (Joint Admission Counselling)

Faculty :

Faculty is great , they are all very senior guys , very well known and respected in their particular fields. If you're really keen , it can be a really great learning curve with them by your side. There will be some issues as the age gap might be there with some senior professors. Be nice to them they'll be extra nice to you. Reverse is also true.

Night Life :

Lots of canteens , inside the campus , outside as well . Gate timings are strict. I was a day scholar. Ramu bhaiya is a lot fun. Campus is really big , so you can explore that. Very safe place to hangout in nights also.

Experience like others

Placement Experience:

Placement stats are great cause at least you can have 15 LPA as average and nowdays it is even higher around 18 to 20 LPA. Internships are also fine and all you have to do is skills that can compete with your peers.

IIIT Delhi - The truth nothing else

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is really good. It helped me a lot to know what all skills i need to get a good job and help me understand the industry. I've leanrt a lot of soft skills. The only things that dissapoints me is the frequent quizzes and assingments which doenst allow students to do self studies.

Review for IIT Delhi - One of the best engineering colleges in the country

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course helps to prepare students for real-world applications and further academic pursuits is equally crucial. well the institute needs to improve in some areas, like the timing of exams should be carefully planned in order to reduce students' stress and the difficulty should challenge students without being overly daunting. A semester in IIT Delhi is nearly of 4 months during which they conduct a mid sem and end sem exams.

you can check our college site for latest placements stats, even the college isn't that old but it has better placements statistics and now comparing to DTU or NSUT, with average of 22.04 lpa and highest 49. somthing lpa for btech, i didn't know everything about placements since i'm just a second year (3rd sem) student.

MAIT - You should go fot it

Placement Experience:

1. Placement season starts after external exams of 6th semester. 2. Mass recruiters here are ZS Associates (13.6 LPA), Accenture (4.5 LPA, 6.5 LPA) etc. 3. More than 60 percent students from CS/IT gets placed easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As AI came into our daily use, it has been a highly spreading skill that is making a lot of jobs in the market and i do have a major interest in this field. As this is my first year so nothing has been taught yet about AI but in upcoming years or maybe just next year onwards thing might get started. Exams are held in three terms Mid term 1,2 and End Term which are not much hard to score marks.

Life at IIITD

Placement Experience:

IIIT Delhi provides good on campus placement offers, but I guess due to recession the placement were worst last year. Otherwise the college has above 90% placements in each branch. Enough companies come to recruit here but you have to be skilled enough to qualify for the placement. CSSS and CSD are the worst branches in terms of placement here, but not that much as compared in general.
