Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very well designed to give a detailed and comprehensive scope of our construction management , with taking all aspects like profitability using stastics , construction project management , quality and safety on site , thus covering all aspects of the course that I can think of.

Placement Experience :

From 3rd Sem in MTech you can start sitting for placements. Companies like Godrej , L&T, Sharpooji , Samsung comes in core , otherwise there are many in management like Bain , PWC etc . 100 percent placement is there , my plan is to go with L&T

Fees and Financial Aid :

Year fees is 150000, Tution fee is 70000 per Sem Caution fee - 10000 overall Other fees are a total of 5000 so not need to focus on that much There are scolorships for low income families , other than that none I am aware of

Campus Life :

Till now only 1 fest has been there , called Randavouz , which was a cultural fest , different singers like Sunidhi Chauhan came to perform. There were a lot of brands for promotions like puma , sketchers who were giving gift coupons. All classroom have projectors , and recording for online classes . Every department has club chapters to get out and socialise

Admission :

I applied for IIT Delhi and IIT madras , I got into both so I choose Delhi as its closer to my house . The admission is via Gate , scoring below 500 rank can get you a seat here in my program , otherwise need to score below 200 to get into structural . Course wise this college has a good curriculum.

Faculty :

Professor to student ratio is around 20:1, they are very welcoming and help if we get any problem Till now in Civil Prof. Sahil Garg , Prof. Pawan pandey , Prof . Tabish are the best that I felt due to their good nature and teaching skills There is 1 minor , 1 major , 2-3 quiz that cover the whole syllabus very well

Night Life :

Every hostel has a gym , we have 1 cafeteria , 3 restaurants, multiple canteens here Hostel has no in timimgs for anyone , neither for campus . We can hangout in the CCD , outside we have a SDA market, to chill out.

Placement Experience:

The placements at my college are highly commendable, with a dedicated placement cell that ensures students are well-prepared for interviews and industry requirements. Many reputed companies visit the campus annually, offering roles across various sectors. The average placement package is competitive, and students often secure internships that lead to pre-placement offers. For those not interested in campus placements, the college provides support for higher studies, entrepreneurship, and professional certifications, enhancing employability. If campus placements weren't available, I would focus on leveraging industry connections, internships, and skills acquired during my course to secure opportunities aligned with my career aspirations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Environment engineering is quite easy as compared to other branches and apart from that you can get highly beneficial knowledge related to surrounding pollutants. With respect to improvement there should also be courses related to practical time consideration of how we can reduce the pollutants concentration. Exam occurs 2 times in 6 months but quiz happens on regular basis.

Placements are good. Placement season begins from the first December and maximum students get placed by 10 of December. A wide variety of companies visit the college both core and non core. Overall package of non core companies are higher even reaching crore lpa and core companies packages are relatively lower.

Remarks:

I loved DTU. It is a college which is good in every aspect. Moreover it is in Delhi which adds to its strength and atmosphere. If I would get a chance to choose between IIT or DTU, I would opt for it once again as it is an awesome campus, college with placements matching to the standards of IITs.

Remarks:

The campus is known for its unique style of involvement with the socio-political issues. The university carries an extraordinary heritage in terms of producing thinkers. May it be discipline of science or humanities, the eminent personalities are spread across the countries. It's a life changing experience studying here. Faculties are highly qualified, up to date in their field of research. Students can talk to a professor anytime. The course is research oriented, meaning it'll be easier to pursue doctoral research after you complete M. Tech. There are 2 M. Tech courses offered in the upcoming academic session. One is in statistics and data science, the other is in computer science & technology.
