  • The strict attendance policy. Can't take a lot of leaves.
  • Form filing for claiming leave of absence. Its a huge process which requires you to get signatures from various authorities to be cleared for leave exemption.

Course Curriculum Overview :

We have various skill development workshops to hone our skills and also ones which are the most relevant in the market currently. Most of them are free but there are paid workshops too.The people conducting the workshop are seasoned professionals. We had various workshops on excel, power Bi,tableau to prepare us for the corporate world. The class timings are good. We have mid semester and end semester exams. The difficulty level of the exams and the marking scheme is very difficult and strict.

Internships Opportunities :

The companies for internships are few. But it's also because the companies that come, only take 2/3 students out of 100 applying. Companies like Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley visited. Other than that not a lot of companies came for us. We mostly look for internships on our own. But we get exemptions for working during college hours

Placement Experience :

The placement cell is really good. We have job opportunities for all kinds of roles. The companies coming in are also really good. Highest package offered was ?22lakhs. Companies like KPMG,EY,Deloitte and Deshaw visited campus. Many startups and insurance companies also visit.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The course fee for my program which is an integrated course is ?250000. But general BBA is cheaper and lesser. For NRI it's slightly higher. As of now the fee structure is fixed. There are several programs for scholarships. They run a some program for underprivileged kids and even the service staff's kids.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is amazing. We have fests and competitons every month. The library is amazing and is the best in the state. We have activities that focus on all areas such as dance, sports competitions, theatre, singing. The social clubs are student led and are very active in their objective to bring a difference in the society. We have a recycling unit within college that ensures all waste is recycled and repurposed. The campus is green, clean and well maintained

Admission :

The professional course offered with degree option was not available anywhere else with this combination. Other colleges would offer professional courses but would not really support the curriculum. The admission process was not really tough. Can crack it with a little practice. Most colleges I applied to I got in. But either the fees was not worth the quality of education provided nor the campus was good. Christ focuses on students that are well rounded and not just academically smart.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is good. The faculty are well educated and friendly. They ensure to hire people who have worked prior to teaching to provide a more holistic education. The course and curriculum and in line with current education standards and infact very challenging. The course curriculum is relevant. Students have a chance to clear their backlog.

Night Life :

We have various food spots across campus catering to different taste buds. Hostel timings are little strict. The campus is well guarded and safe and have 24/7 vigilance. It is Only open to people living in the hostel after 9.

Placement Experience:

from 5th semesters the students become eligible for placements and some big companies like Goldman sacks, Deloitte, EY, DE shaw etc. will start visiting and will get the cream students with the packages o 12-15 lpa, this years the placement rate was low for BBA but the packages were higher. IN BCom. most of the students get placed but at a very low package of 4-6 lpa, the BCA students will get placed pretty easily as it is the flagship program. The palns after degree would be pursuing MBA which most of the students do and complete that. The average overall package you can say would be 8 lpa with placement rate of 50-60%. Thsi year most of the investment banker and finance related profiles got the maximum package with HR and marketing with average and less profiles in comparison.

Placement Experience:

Our course included The package of TCS where the give the certificate of completion of TCS course and they also place our students to TCS. Also this year there is an opportunity from Charles University Australia where they merge with the courses and get the opportunity to learn in Australia . They collaborate with the college and provide us 25% scholarship and 50% scholarship for 5 students from Yenepoya. There are some frieght forwarding companies who come and place our students and see their performance based on interviews. The best profile companies offer up 70000 rupees per month. I plan to continue my further studies on MBA
