Remarks :

Positive- Good infrastructure, excellent faculties, large area, good management, Negative- College sometimes impose fine on you that even you don't know why costed so much. Otherwise college is quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is set by the UPTU which is quite old and need to be changed, college personally conducts 3 mid exams and one annually which is pre-university exam. I studied Computer science but as per UPTU no new technology was there is our curriculum. Overall need to work on structure.

Placement Experience :

Placement opportunity is quite good, the first mass recruiter is INFOSYS which generally take 200 students every year .also our college provide few chances for internship. I started working in final year and came back when exam started. They supported really well.

College Events :

PSIT kanpur have an annual fest which is techno and cultural fest. This is two days fest which is celebrated really well with a star as a chief guest. Also PSIT holds an annual sports day event which includes almost all indor and outdoor games.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is as per the noms of AKTU plus the hostel fee is 70k which includes accomodation in AC plus mess eating . Overall fee asked is quite ok ok with respect to what we get back. Note: also the charge fine if your attendance is below 90%.

Fees and Financial Aid :

College provides few Fee wavier seats which are reserved by Abdul kala technical University. So for fee wavier seat the fee is quite low. Also college provides various education loaning information. My roommate completed his b.tech with a educational loan.

Campus Life :

As said before for extracurricular activities college organizes anual sports day. Not only this our college is having various clubs for example logix the technical club, danzzel dancing club, etc etc

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel accommodation is good I will say, it is not bad and even ok ok types. Every students get facility to laundry system and wifi connection for seamless internet connectivity. Overall the hostel life is better than living outside .

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumini network is not that strong, it is that you have to get up and interact with your seniors. Which is according to me is two side relation for example I have good connection with many seniors which actually help us.

Faculty :

Faculty as very helpful and also they force us to study well. Every doubt is being cleared by them. So overall well experienced faculties are available in the college who are dedicated to help you. you will find amazing faculties over there

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is overrated no doubt but at the end it all worth it when you treat the patient. Currently NMC guidelines are clinically directed but the way college fulfills it are not up to the guidelines. After doing MBBS in this college you are not that much confident to prescribe any medication independently. Education here is more theoretical than practical. College can improve it by giving more practical knowledge on real patients. Due to lots of junior residents, MBBS students get less chance to perform any clinical activities.

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible for placements from the 7 th semester itself, a lot of campus placements occur here. The companies visiting are TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, MOTHERSO, TALENT SURV etc.. The highest package offered was 34 LPA and the average here is 4-5 LPA. About 90 percent of students get placed here with good package. I am basically aiming for a job too after completion of the course
