- The faculty are really great nd their teaching methods are easy and understandable by the students
- The students of the college are really helpful. Seniors and the juniors are really great at helping and help you out to fit in the new city if you are outstation student.
Dislikes
- The thing that I disliked is only that at times they inform late about sudden holidays during monsoon rainy season when holidays declared by the government.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course and the curriculum is relevant in all the aspects as it teaches you and provides you insights of the the real business nd Industry world. The college also provides co-curricular activities nd additional subjects like advertising and excel and the college do keep practical inorder to observe students learning perspectives. The timing of the exam differs from subject to subject the major subject exam timing is 2hours and minor subject exam timing is 1hour. The important thing which I love about the course is its timing which allows a student to do other professional courses along with their UG course. The timing of my course is from 7AM to 11:20 AM which also sometime shifts towards 12:00 AM.
Internships Opportunities :
There are many good companies who come to give internship in college. There are many projects and tasks that are given In order to improve oneself. The roles offered differs from student to student. Depending upon their capacities to learn and unlearn nd work in the environment that they have.
Placement Experience :
From 5th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. There are various companies that come for the campus placement. Approximately 80 - 90% of the students get placed in good company. The average package is around 10LPA and the highest package is around 20LPA
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fee that I paid for my 1st year is 15000 For second year it will be apporx 12000 For Third year it will be approx 11000 Our college do provide scholarships for the students who are in need nd usually for bachelor of Commerce degree merit basis admission is taken.
Campus Life :
There are many fests conducted in the college but one of the main fest conducted is named KSHITIJ. It is considered among one of the top college fest of Mumbai. Apart from KSHITIJ there are also other fests like Finanza, Annual Talent search, Reclemo. All of these fest provide great opportunities to the students to learn apart from college studies. It helps students to know their actual intrest and move further in their intrested fields.
Admission :
The main reason of choosing this college is the kind of study facilitate that they provide and the internship opportunities, placements that they provide helping students to improve. I did apply for other best colleges of mumbai nd did get selected but personally I felt this college as a good option because of the infrastructure and facilities of internships and Placements that they provide along with learning new aspects.The admission process of getting into mithibai college is by applying into mumbai university form and then applying into personal application form of the college.Then college gives admission on merit basis, If you are selected then you'll receive an email from the college of confirmation of you getting selected and the email also includesother details that has to be done inorder to get admission confirm. Inorder to get admission into mithibai college you have to atleast score 80% in your class 12th boards.The admission process of the college is smooth nd Stress free as they also provide online submission of forms for outstation students allowing them have a smooth admission process experience.
Faculty :
The faculty is really approachable nd maintain a good relation with students in a manner that students doesn't hesitate to ask any knid of doubt. In total we have 2semeters in every year of degree which includes a lot of internal tests nd presentations that students have to give which help the students to learn a lot nd removes their stage fear.The exams difficulty level differs from person to person It is like if you study well you'll score good. The difficulty level of exam I would rate 8/10 like it includes comprehensive thinking from the student side to answer a question well.
Night Life :
The cafeterias of college is really great the food that is served is really amazing and healthy and tasty at the same time. There are many outstation students who lives in PG nd Hostels nd eat college cafeteria food. As such the college doesn't have their own hostel but there are many PGs and hostels near by where students can stay. The most famous hangout place near college is Juhu beach. The surrounding of college is quiet safe to roam even at night.
